::History::

Little did I know that all this time I was really playing a very vicious deck in larval state. Tide Spiral is a more refined, "grown-up" version of a Denying Wind deck, ran years ago. Since 1999, when I fell in love with the Spiral, it's been a staple of my blue repertoire. High Tide was a natural discovery, and soon the two made short work of opponents using the unwieldy Wind. Later, I would focus my efforts into a Mono-Blue deck with an associate, utilizing cheap spells and big hand grabs to blow up in one or two turns using Brain Freeze. My personal variant of it included elves, specifically the non-Elf Elf, Wirewood Symbiote, Intruder Alarm, and Hibernation to chain together 60+ Storm counts. Legend goes it once took a 20 minute turn and Froze every player at a 10 man table except for one; he had Gaea's Blessing. History told, the future of Tide Spiral is a bright one. There are years of experience here, just waiting to be tapped to build.

::Future::

I'd like to add fetches to the deck, but at a minimum of $40 a pop, it'll be a while. Most of the deck's price is currently wrapped up in Pacts and Spirals. No longer in possession of my playset (I do still have my original, first Time Spiral), the deck will penultimately strive for the prettier, Lady Art versions of the chosen cards. These include Judge Promo Cunning Wishes, which go for either a $20 or $50 bill, depending on store. Ultimately, it will arrive at super-foil-ness, which will be even more ridiculous, given those forty-pops.
