Played in Win-A-Box at new LGS. 15 people there, went 2-2.
Round 1: Abzan Midrange Deck really came through for me on this one. I got the removal I needed and was able to push through a bunch of damage. Second game I had a hand with 4x Lightning Strike. Not gonna call that skill. 2-0
Round 2: Abzan Aggro This one was trickier. He had a little more gas than I could handle, plus removal for what I managed to push through. They were close games, though, I was able to really threaten but in the end he stabilized and swarmed. 0-2
Round 3: Jeskai Fireworks As long as I remove Seeker of the Way this matchup goes okay. As pointed out, I don't have great ways of dealing with large fliers like Stormbreath Dragon. Since UR has trouble with things already on the board (don't I know it) I was able to edge this one out. 2-1
Round 4: Abzan Control Mana screw, 2 and 1 lands. Not much else to say. 0-2
-1 Treasure Cruise -1 Dig Through Time
+2 Stubborn Denial (main) +2 Phyrexian Revoker (side)
Singing Bell Strike moved to side. Disdainful Stroke to main.
I would run Dig Through Time over Treasure Cruise. Technically a bit harder to cast, but double blue shouldn't be a big issue, and I think the two best of the top seven is better than three randoms off the top. Also it's instant speed so you can hold up a Shrapnel Blast and if you have no reason to use it, then you can Dig.

FAMOUSWATERMELON: Truthfully, I hadn't really considered how to deal with large flyers, so thank you for bringing that up. Singing Bell Strike has been useful against difficult-to-manage threats. Shrapnel Blast isn't pretty as removal but it works in a pinch against Master of the Feast, and I don't think I'll really be able to deal with something like Prognostic Sphinx or Pearl Lake Ancient. Maybe Force Away in the sideboard?
tl:dr anything big and scary i either lose card advantage to kill or try to ignore it and focus down opponent.
evncrbch: Good suggestion on Dig Through Time. I have 1 so i'll probably run one alongside a single Treasure Cruise until I get a second. Thank you!

Singing Bell Strike would probably be more effective. Maybe add one or two to the main deck? Even forgetting flying, it's a good form of defense.

FAMOUSWATERMELON yeah, gonna try two Singing Bell Strike mainboard instead of Ghostfire Blade, also removed 1 Island in favor of a fourth Swiftwater Cliffs--fixing has been an issue for this deck and so Cliffs T1 seems like a better play than Ghostfire Blade, which has really only been a tip-off for what I'm playing and a flag for removal.

I made an artifact list awhile back. It's on my profile if you want to go visit it. Maybe you'll like what you see and get some ideas.

So I really like the build and the way it's set up. However, I found that this deck might have a problem with big flyers. Is there any solution to that (besides burn, which won't really take down very big creatures)?
