Maybeboard

  1. This is a EDH control deck designed for Multiplayer games utilizing Merieke Ri Berit as the General for this build. Hence low focus on counterspells and less than average spot removal .
  2. The Deck is heavy on Boardwipes to trade more than 1 for 1 in most cases(all cases except for that extreme corner case that should not happen), Terminus is an all star because it means that that graveyard deck is not going to be getting full. Rout is an excellent way to answer that Craterhoof Behemoth that came down with x=30 or to blow the board at instant speed.
  3. Planeswalkers, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon , Sometimes he saves the day, sometimes he wins the game. Jace, Architect of Thought would be nice, but I cant justify running him for all of his abilities, just -2 and the rare time i can ult him. Same with Jace, the Living Guildpact
  4. The General, the grand showing you have been waiting for, Merieke Ri Berit ! Steel their win con than kill when something better shows up, take the combo piece, or that pesky Blightsteel Colossus that is going to kill you, nope not anymore.
  5. Counterspells, Can't go wrong with the namesake, Counterspell , Render Silent counters a spell and locks them down for a turn. Ertai, Wizard Adept is REPEATABLE! Such value, like Sharuum the Hegemon , but not quite. Hindering Light only counters spells that target that target you or a permanent you control, but it replaces itself.
  6. Repeatable Uses, Royal Assassin and Ertai, Wizard Adept , and Divine Reckoning are all great ways to generate card advantage.
  7. Lightmine Field , Aurification , Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer , and Propaganda are some of the best ways to keep creatures from attacking you, in addition, Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer is very political for keeping, and getting allies around the table.
  8. Win Cons, Merieke Ri Berit can steal creatures to beat the rest of the table to death with, Grave Betrayal +A Board Wipe can generate a massive army very quickly, Phyrexian Rebirth most times makes a massive token that kills people in one to two shots, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon can sometimes stay around long enough for the kill but not very often and he is mainly a panic button/that last bit of damage to kill someone or something. Pili-Pala + Grand Architect generates infinite mana allowing you to drain the table with debt to the deathless or deck player with Blue Sun's Zenith
