Well, I'm a cheap person. Mostly because I'm a 15 year old with no job. This would explain my 2 Snapcaster Mage's, the singular Cryptic Command and two Mutavaults. This is also why I'm running Thought Scour over Serum Visions. Disrupting Shoal is a must so I'm making due by buying them one at a time, while using proxies for the rest. But nevertheless, it does what blue does best, annoy the living hell out of you.
Card choices:
Boomerang - Nothing hurts more then playing this on turn two with a bear or a delver on the field and your opponent just wants to stabilize when you bounce their shock and they are out life, and left wide open for a swing, plus the massive tempo loss. It is worth keeping at four as it can also hit creatures, enchantments, artifacts, overall solid removal.
Vapor Snag - A better Unsummon, this card clears the field of a potential blocker or an attacker and drains them slightly. All around good.
Disrupting Shoal - the gold of the deck. A zero mana counter spell and the cost of another blue card in hand? this is great for tempo, and late game when they drain all their mana into a big guy, playing this and getting rid of a Remand is very helpful.
AEtherling - A better alternative to most other blue creatures, and turns deadly fast. Although I was considering the new card in origins that does the same thing, but I think AEtherling will stay putt for now.
Thought Scour - the poor man's Serum Visions. Play this, mill two and draw a card, great to imprint on Scepter so you can go through your deck and, hopefully, mill your opponent a good bit. Hurts control a bit.
Advice is very welcome, but nothing that will blow my price range (that isn't already in the deck, I have at least a copy of each card in the deck), so nothing over 5 dollars. Thank you!
