Hello! I saw this deck and loved everything about it! The deck is great, and I love the background. I saw in above comments that you can do this:

< img src=" Insert URL of Image here" style="position:fixed;top:0px;left:0px;width:100%;height:100%;z-index:-1;" / >

After you get rid of the spaces between < and the text, as well as the space between text and >, but it still doesn't work for me. Do you have any advice?

Thanks so much, and +1! :)

Under edit, you just past it in with no spaces at the < and > and it should work fine! Thanks for the plus 1 freakingAud and I haven't been on at all in forever so I'm really sorry for such a late response.

I don't get it, how do you cheat out a card or for example Krenko, Mob Boss on turn 2?

April 30, 2017 12:15 p.m.

xJonahSlayerx says... #5

And on your turn 3 plan you deal 3 damage not 5?

Guess it makes sense when you got another Goblin Guide in play.

Hey, it's time for some Throne of the God-PharaohsThat card is insane with goblins.

Duckling says... #8

xJonahSlayerx Krenko gets cheated out through Warren Instigator's triggered ability.

------ I like the concept of Throne of the God-Pharaoh without a doubt but when you're not running a token-goblin type deck you're not going to benefit very much from it. That would work great in a token oriented deck featuring the cards like Krenko's Command, Dragon Fodder, Hordeling Outburst etc. Thanks for the suggestion though! It's definitely a cool card!

How is it so that Krenko can tap twice on turn 3. I understand that Goblin Chieftain can make him tap, but how does he untap. Your next untap step would be the next turn if I remember the rules correctly?

Duckling says... #11

xJonahSlayerx - Krenko, Mob Boss does not untap, you're remembering the rules correctly. Although that being said, I manage to get a second tap by simply getting an additional Krenko, Mob Boss onto the battlefield through Warren Instigator's trigger allowing for me to "cheat" in two goblins if the damage isn't prevented. So, first strike causes the instigator trigger which krenko comes from my hand into play, I tap him for goblins because he has haste and then the regular strike combat damage proceeds to go through in which case I get another instigator trigger which leads into me playing another krenko from my hand thus I have a new untapped Krenko, Mob Boss which I tap again.

That should hopefully clear things up.Cheers!

Okay, that makes more sense. Thank for explaining. Great Deck

So new to tapped out. I was just wondering, and I see this thread is still going. What about aether vial x 4?I was looking to build a cheap new powerful deck. I already have caverns for my eldrazi tron and I have aether vials because I was going to build slivers with it. I could get the rest of this for around $100. I have some of the pieces laying around like bolts and what not

A creature a lot of goblin players either dont know about or dont play is Clickslither. Its so good because it can push through walls and end board stalls. :)

Ok, ive tested it, its pretty powerfull, but do u think shared animosity is fast enough for this strategy? I mean, u can just use bolts+ grenade and add more rabble or maybe wacks

AriesBladeX says... #17

This is a great strategy but the problem is if im reading it right by turn 3 your putting 2 krenkos out you cant have 2 legendary cards with the same name on the battlefield if I'm wrong let me know

RJE08 says... #18

AriesBladeX You are correct in only having one legendary creature out at a time, so if you play a second legendary of the same name you must choose one to sacrifice. You choose the first (tapped) Krenko to sacrifice, and because your goblins have haste you tap the new untapped Krenko for the new goblins.

Hey guys, it's been like a year since I've been on Tappedout, sorry for this - school and work kept me busy.

Thanks a lot GoblinsBeatElves! Appreciate the support, and of course your name!

apohis There are times in which it can be good and times in which it's bad. I still think it's better to use than not to in general (and not just because my deck title name needs it), as its synergy with Legion Loyalist and a couple other creatures is quite good. I oftentimes would use it as a finisher, so you're not just going to pump it out right away, you'll play it after you have a few guys on the board.

Thanks for the comment AriesBladeX but RJE08 did a good job in explaining what you have to do. Essentially, the legend rule does apply yes, but you sacrifice the Krenko in which you've already used. This means that at any time there is only 1 Krenko, Mob Boss on the field, you just sacrifice the one which you've already tapped for goblins.

I didnt play mtg for a long time and i am searching for a good goblin deck. On my search i found your deck and its quite interesting. But i dont get one thing. How is it possible to "cheat out the 2nd Krenko" in turn 3? I dont get that point, because you already cheated out one Krenko?! Thanks for your help!

March 15, 2019 5:56 p.m.

Duckling says... #21

Hey grimsen, thanks for your interest. It's a common question for sure.

So essentially how it works, Warren Instigator 's effect is to play a goblin from hand whenever he deals combat damage to a player. Warren Instigator also has double strike, therefore when in combat for the scenario above, first strike damage applies which allows me to "cheat out" otherwise meaning play without paying any cost, a goblin from hand. This allows me to play Krenko, Mob Boss from my hand off of his first strike damage trigger. Then after that, as per the stack, there is a normal combat damage trigger which I would then respond to by tapping my Krenko, Mob Boss as he does not have any summoner sickness due to Goblin Chieftain . That is the first spew of goblins. Then normal combat damage goes through which causes the Instigator to trigger again, thus allowing for me to play another goblin from my hand, which in this case is another Krenko, Mob Boss . Since Krenko is a legendary creature, the legend rule applies which means I have to sacrifice my tapped Krenko to that clause. But now I have a fully ready to go second Krenko out which is able to be tapped again to produce more goblins.

Hopefully that made sense, I tried to include just about everything about that scenario here, does that clarify the matter?

As a side note, keep your eyes peeled for the new Modern Horizons set coming in the semi-near future, which might increase the power goblins could have in the future! (fingers crossed for Goblin Lackey !!)

I ended up building this deck and I love it. I have a question, though. What's your opinion on Matron?

September 17, 2019 9:05 p.m.

Duckling says... #25

Mindcrime88 I'm glad to hear that! Yes I haven't kept this as up to date as I should, I'm not on tappedout as much anymore. Goblin Matron is a wonderful card, as well as Goblin Warchief too which are both now modern legal. I'll do a quick update of what I think this deck should look like now, while still having the crazy damage able to happen.
