Izzet Burning? (Standard MTG Deck)

This is a counter-burn artifact deck. Using cheap artifacts, it creates 5/5s early with Ensoul Artifact and then protects and/or disrupts your opponent from there using Negate, Stubborn Denial, Stymied Hopes , Lightning Strike, etc. A significant amount of scrying usually goes on as well to ensure that you're picking up burn when you need vs. control. Shrapnel Blast either finishes the fight or prevents the effective use of Hero's Downfall, Reprisal , or our archnemesis: Crackling Doom.

The sideboard includes some specific strategies for metagame: get underneath abzan decks with Satyr Hoplite , Hammerhand , Valley Dasher and an extra mountain. Use Circle of Flame , Omenspeaker and Sigiled Starfish to disrupt token decks (take out disdainful strokes b/c Brimaz and Rabblemasters are less than 4). Against G/R Monsters, steal them with Act of Treason or dismiss with AEtherspouts. Kiora's Dismissal can be brought in for pesky enchantments.
