This is a deck that I've been playtesting and have been very pleased with the results. It relies on recursively getting back Gravecrawler and Bloodghast, as well as Vengevine from the graveyard.

The synergy between Varolz, the Scar-Striped and a Death's Shadow in the graveyard, allows you to scavenge 13 +1/+1 counters for a single black mana.
