It might be worth putting some counterspells in to protect your combo i like it though.

What are your thoughts on Dragon Whisperer? More 4/4 dragon token that doesn't require sacking. Plus he's a good late game mana sink

And there's another dragon, oh, and you, hey, you to! Seriously nice idea! I love playing it for 2 mana! Good job! +1

beakedbard Ooh definately interesting, do you think just a straight up Negate will cut it or maybe Mindswipe ?

Nixin72 Whoa didn't see that guy before. I'm not sure where he fits currently, though really like the idea of mana sinking later on. Maybe pile for now.

Minelia5 Hey thanks so much! So keen to trial and refine the deck more :)

Dig Through Time and/or Anticipate to help find Descent of the Dragons.

Kaitoghost Anticipate is very good yes. I dont have much delve to make Dig worth it

I like it but do you really want to be playing dragons only to sack them? I would focus fully on the combo. Drop the dragons, (maybe leave some in the sideboard for game 2) for 4 rabblemaster, add dig through time and certainly some negate. Love tormenting voice here, will add that to my version. Gl

ozimandius thats a good point really. I didnt see the connection but rabblemaster is perfect for this. I think thunderbreak will be good as a...two of but will drop stormbreath into 2 and the sideboard. Thanks! Will test out dig.

Brad7986 yup! Glad you got it. Thanks for the +1!

I would put in another copy of Dragon Tempest, seeing as it doesn't hurt to be dealing more damage when the dragons enter (b/c the damage would stack) and having one more increases your chances of actually having it during the game

March 19, 2015 2:32 a.m.

Also, with some testing, I see that you don't have a lot of early plays. Maybe if you were to add a few Monastery Swiftspear it would give the opponent something to sink removal into or you could get some damage in with it

Antonius_Cleus A fourth copy? Its true I do want to hit it ever game, and we can merely discard copies with Tormenting Voice if need be.

as for early game...its true. Optimally a scry t1 is best but perhaps some more creatures might be good. I'm not at all sure what i should drop though, perhaps Stoke the Flames ?

Thank you for playtesting it a little! I appreciate it!

1 problem, when the 4 dragons enter, it will be 10 damage with Dragon Tempest instead of 16 damage. Other than that +1!

March 19, 2015 10:32 a.m.

@EeveeKid all four drags enter at the same time so they deal 4 damage each

March 19, 2015 1:02 p.m.

@Kizmetto personally, I agree with taking out Stoke the Flames. I havnt done too well with that card so I don't use it, but if you can use stoke, by all means, keep it in there

Why do you have land in your sideboard?

March 19, 2015 4:19 p.m.

EeveeKid says... #22

Oh, ok I thought it was different. Sorry for that.

March 19, 2015 6:53 p.m.

@HeartOfGold Switch out 3 mountains when he puts in more blue stuff?

March 19, 2015 6:56 p.m.

Kizmetto says... #24

Antonius_Cleus Stoke seems alright when i playtest it, considering its usually free with all these goblins running around! hehe

EeveeKid No worries! Tempest is a cool card~ 10 damage to the face and themn 4 4/4s are still hard to beat!!

HeartOfGold For exactly the reason @antonius_cleus specified, Its to ensure i can hit the double blue when i bring in Dissolve. I thought about more Mana Confluence but that may end up hurting me more than i need. Heres hoping Scalding Tarn is reprinted in Battle of Zendikar!

Just wanted to thank everyone too for the +1s and constructive comments~! Have a great pre-release too!

Kizmetto Dance of the Skywise might be an interesting sideboard card against decks with flying, seeing as you can make a 4/4 flyer out of nowhere. 4 damage out of nowhere is also decent if you are attacking with the creature.
