A Junk Midrange idea I have had for a bit.

Card Rundown-

Creatures:Sylvan Caryatid Nice early wall to preserve some life; also ramps and fixes mana at only 2 mana. I could think of nothing else to go in this slot.

Scavenging Ooze Stops Golgari Graveyard decks in their tracks, gains my life for Archangel of Thune, and can become a very significant threat if left alone.

Advent of the Wurm I see this card as a 4 CMC 5/5 trample with flash. They attack with Brimaz or Courser against your open field, then BOOM. Surprise wurm kills little kitty.

Obzedat, Ghost Council Very strong card that wrecks control, gains life for Archangel, and is a 2-4 turn clock that has to be dealt with immediately.

Archangel of Thune Oh holy lord this card is amazing. 3/4 Flying Lifelink for 5 is decent enough, the fact that it turns anything on your field into a powerhouse is the reason why this card is the #1 Hero's Downfall target in this deck.

Blood Baron of Vizkopa With all the B/W Athreos humans decks out and around, not to mention black aggro and mono-black whip, Blood Baron gains life for Archangel, stops the assault, and is a win-condition against half the decks in standard right now.

Lifebane Zombie Lets you see your opponents hand with no drawback, occasionally taking a threat away. Intimidate lets you attack opposing Elspeth's, and is also a slow clock if left alone.

Planeswalkers:

Ajani, Mentor of Heroes Biggest card advantage engine this deck can have. This card can sift through your deck, finding the largest threats nearly every turn for you to keep pumping out. His other +1 can also make a little courser into a 5/7 Beatstick, which is fun.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion I cannot have a white deck without one of the top 5 cards in standard. Makes pingers, destroys creatures your removal can't kill, and turns anything you put on the field into at least a 4/4 flying powerhouse.

Instants and Sorceries:

Abrupt Decay If they ever try to D-sphere or O-ring your goodies, this card will make them cry.

Hero's Downfall Very important, this card removes big creatures or opposing planeswalkers, letting your own threats whack away endlessly at their life total.

Enchantments:

Banishing Light Can take out opposing planeswalkers, creatures, pesky enchantments locking out your planeswalkers, god weapons, gods themselves, the list goes on. You will almost never not have a target to hit with this that you won't be happy about.

Underworld Connections Powerful card draw engine letting you hit your big creatures or removal spells.
