Marath's Will

                        

This Deck features Marath, Will of the Wild and his friends in a deck made to beat down on your enemies with efficient creatures and powerful spells

Basic Strategy

Obviously there is a little more strategy to the deck than just turning our creatures sideways as it has quite a bit of removal. This plays very much as a tempo deck where our creatures are either bigger than their's or have a bigger impact when they come onto the board. Or if all else fails hit whatever they have with a Path to Exile , or get the creature you need with a Chord of Calling . Maybe even cast Marath, Will of the Wild and use all of the utility to push through for a win.

  • Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit A solid body with an awesome affect buffing your weakest creature and in such a tiny format a +1/+1 in nothing to laugh at.
  • Birds of Paradise A card I have debated about as it does little besides offer more consistency mana wise and ramps a little but does little if I have the correct mana or a better creature. Possibly being replaced by Stormblood Beserkers
  • Courser of Kruphix A very good card the 2/4 for 3 mana is great and the ability to see the top card while it can go both ways usually represents a win for you as you can play lands off the top which also gain you life.
  • Elvish Visionary Possibly another card up on the chopping block although the card draw is great and the 2/1 body isn't bad I feel there are better cards to play possibly more burn/removal
  • Eternal Witness Very good card allows the value creatures to be brought back and played again
  • Experiment One Fantastic Card in this deck if you play it turn one it gets big very fast and becomes a problem due to the ability to regenerate it.
  • Fleecemane Lion A 2 drop 3/3 that stills is good later in the game with the option to monsterize it sure why not Fleecemane Lion is very good overall
  • Kird Ape 1/1 if I control a forest a 2/3 for 1 mana alright
  • Kitchen Finks Great in modern, great in this deck almost always gains you 4 life and can block or keep attacking in for extra dmg
  • Knight of the Reliquary In a 3 color deck Knight is a bomb due to fetches and even though I don't have all of the fetches for this deck(Working on it) it still allows me to grab a land I need to keep up the tempo while buffing itself
  • Loam Lion Another Kird Ape but white sure I'll throw it in
  • Loaming Shaman Like Eternal Witness but lets me recycle my graveyard into my deck
  • Loxodon Smiter Great value a a 4/4 with hate for discard and can't be countered
  • Mother of Runes Not much to be said that isn't already known here great card with the ability to protect creatures from removal or get that last bit of dmg through and since most boardwipes are above 3 CMC mom gets even better
  • Phyrexian Revoker Shuts down alot of Commanders/Leaders or other power creatures
  • Reclamation Sage Just a bit of protection from enchantments and artifacts in the mainboard(sideboard to come soon)
  • Scavenging Ooze Hates on graveyards mostly their's and gains us life and makes a bigger creature
  • Voice of Resurgence Works well against control and synergizes with the amount of creatures we play or with the tokens you can make with Marath
  • Woolly Thoctar A 3 drop 5/4 nothing special just great efficiency
