Its CMC is a bit high, I would need to rework my lands or have something like Palladium Myr . The card itself would be fantastic, though.

No Plague Myr love? I care deeply for Myr. They were the first deck I ever made. since you are running artifact, and you are worried about the cmc for Myr Battlesphere just throw in a couple of Sol Ring s instead of land. synergizes well, especially with the cheap cost of myr

I also recommend one or two Myr Retriever s for returning key cards from your graveyard to your hand.

Whispersilk Cloak > Prowler's Helm Definitely recommend Loxodon Warhammer . Combined with Grafted Exoskeleton , its super deadly.

Sol Ring is not legal in modern, good deck though!

Remove Infiltration Lens and add Cranial Plating ... that card wins on its own. Darksteel Myr is way too slow. Add Darksteel Citadel to help with Metalcraft. Ichorclaw Myr does not fit the deck. Inkmoth Nexus as your only infect as a sideways option is all you need. I would also add Blinkmoth Nexus .

So, my suggestion would be
-2 Infiltration Lens
-3 Darksteel Myr
-3 Ichorclaw Myr
+4 Cranial Plating
+1 Etched Champion
+2 Vault Skirge
+1 Ornithopter

and

-8 Plains
+4 Darksteel Citadel
+4 Blinkmoth Nexus

I see your point and will tweak further, but the Inkmoth Nexus and Steel Overseer were already pushing my budget. I don't think I can afford (literally) to add the Blinkmoth Nexus . Thanks for the advice, though!

If you're on a budget, why not use Caves of Koilos instead of City of Brass? It's kind of better for what you're doing, anyway.
