Sideboard

My first record of my Grixis Control deck, which I intend to maintain and keep alive through new sets and rotations. Thanks to EastsideRock (who has been doing the same thing in the same shell for a lot longer than me) for giving me a starting point with this deck a while back. The goal is exactly what one would expect in these colors and scheme; no one gets to keep their nice things early, be it through counterspells or removal. Maintain a stable board state through mid-game, hopefully generating some value from things like Smoldering Egg   and Geistflame Reservoir while digging through the deck with Behold the Multiverse or Jace, Mirror Mage and keeping the opponent's battlefield as clear as possible. Several threats can close the game out, often by taking a "What's yours is mine approach" with Xanathar, Guild Kingpin, Gisa, Glorious Resurrector, and Tergrid, God of Fright  . Tergrid's Lantern can seem fairly innocuous early on, then become a real threat and a great way to spend mana if we're waiting to top deck a more in-your-face bomb. Same with Hall of Storm Giants. With plenty of options for controlling the battlefield and then closing out the game, this deck can win a lot of ways and has been a blast to play so far in a post-rotation world. Still working on putting together a cohesive sideboard as I've mostly been doing best-of-1 arena with it. The idea is for this deck to evolve all the time so any suggestions are more than welcome, especially for the sideboard at the moment. And, of course, if you like what I've done here, please give it the ole' +1!
