The goal of this deck is to use Fabled Hero and make him more amazing. There are many ways to target him, protect him and buff him with one spell using Feat of Resistance (witch as a matter of fact gives him two counters and protects him for a turn). Agent of Fates is another potential target for spells in this deck witch also makes your opponent sac creatures. Sorin is in there to give lifelink along with the Whips. I also put in Nyxborn Shieldmate, Eidolon of Countless Battles and Herald of torment to not only trigger heroic but also buff my Fabled Hero A LOT. Bestowing Herald of Torment on him makes him almost unstoppable. Avacyn is another way to protect your creatures. Heliod is in there because playing this deck you almost always have enough devotion by the time he comes out. (he is a better turn five in this deck).
