Because budget limits vary widely in my playgroup, I came up with a challenge to level the playing field: build a $10 commander deck, basic lands are free. Being a blue player, I decided to branch out and build a mono green deck, and saw Grunn as a good fit. The current version is more of a prototype so I can get a more organized look at what is in my cart. I managed to add these cards (all near mint) for $9.96

Essentially, the deck is a voltron deck that wants to ramp right into a kicked Grunn, then give it trample and a small pump. Ideally one of our two exalted creatures is in play, which gives Grunn lethal if he's kicked. There's a few deathtouch cards to interact with our several trample granters, allowing our big ape daddy to ignore the toughness of his blockers and trample all the way through, or even will lacking trample it allows Grunn to wipe out a ton of tokens, even if they are buffed.
