@CW: well, the walkers aren't SUPER necessary, just an alt win con. Maybe AEtherling or a demon of some sort could replace them, as AEtherling isn't too pricey. Doom Blade would be a good replacement.
@infinitemana: what demon would you suggest?

Honestly, any of the standard demons would be pretty good except for Rakdos, Lord of Riots and Abhorrent Overlord . You probably want to hardcast late game if you draw into it, so I wouldnt do Master of Cruelties , or Sire Of Insanity but you could. Your best bet is probably to go with the tailor-made Shadowborn Demon , Lord of the Void or Desecration Demon .

Haha, thanks MinscAndBoo!
@infinitemana: Lord of the Void seems like a good choice. He's in.

This is exactly the sort of deck that makes my day. +1 from me, no worries there. I wish I could afford some of this stuff... Problem is, my playing style lends itself to Gruul, and although I love this sort of deck, thinking my way through it gives me a headache. Good headache, though

From playtesting it a bit, I feel like you need more land. You really want to hit 6 mana ASAP so you can cast sphinx and combo out. I would cut 3 Psychic Spiral as sylvannos suggested, because they do nothing for you until you get sphinx online and once sphinx is out you should be able to draw your whole deck to dig for them anyway. I would add in 2 islands and 1 swamp in their place. If you are concerned about discard and/or counterspells, you can (and should) put an extra copy or 3 in the sideboard.
Additionally, I feel like Hero's Downfall is too hard on this deck's mana. Diabolic Tutor is tough as well, but it's worth it because it helps you assemble your combo and win the game. You should swap out the Hero's Downfall for 4x Detention Sphere . The spheres are much easier to cast, and might be better anyway because they can hit Rest in Peace /gods/etc.
tl;dr: -3x Psychic Spiral -4x Hero's Downfall +2 Island +1 Swamp +4 Detention Sphere

I would run one demon, as an alternate win-con. I don't think that one card would hurt your game too much, but it adds so much flexibility.
