Intro:

This is an artifact combo deck. Combos, combos, combos.

Mana:

This deck has a lower than usual land count (29) but makes up for it with an abundance of mana rocks (16). In addition to lands and rocks, this deck has 6 cards listed in the CostDown-Artifact section, which, as the name suggests, makes your artifacts cost less.

Draw:

This deck has no tutors in it, which is a personal choice. I wanted to make a combo deck without tutors, but tutors would definitely make it better/quicker. Because of the lack of tutors, I focused on consistent draw. This deck has 8 draw cards, all of which allow for an increase in draws each turn instead of a single instance of drawing. The drawing aspect of the deck, is the part that I would most likely change in the future.

Control:

This deck has several control categories: Counter, Destroy, & Limit Casting. The fucntion of each of these categories should not be a mystery given the name. Counter has counter spells like Negate, Destroy has destruction spells like Condemn, & Limit Casting has cards that limit your opponents ability to cast cards, like Rule of Law.

WinCon:

For a combo deck, I did not put that many win cons in it. This along with draw is probably something I am likely to change, if the deck does not perform well. Right now your best bet to win is an inf. combo along with Aetherflux Reservoir, or Walking Ballista to swing with.

Combos:

Below is a list of all the combos used in the deck. This includes Inf. damage, inf. turns, inf. draw, and inf. mana combos. Remember that, while some of the combos rely on specific cards, several can have different cards that perform similar tasks. These will be noted in the combos.

Inf. Damage Combos:

Dmg. Combo 1 - Aetherflux Reservoir + Sydri, Galvanic Genius : In order for this combo to work, you will need 3 things: Have > 50 life, all combo permanents on the battlefield, and one blue, one black , and one white mana. The combo works as follows: You activate Sydri, Galvanic Genius's first ability on Aetherflux Reservoir making it a artifact creature, then you activate Sydri's second ability on Aetherflux giving it lifelink, then you activate Aetherflux's ability to deal 50 damage and gain 50 life.

Dmg. Combo 2 - Aetherflux Reservoir + Exquisite Blood : In order for this combo to work, you will need # things: All combo permanents need to be on the battlefield. You have > 50 life. The way this combo works is as follows: You activate Aetherflux Reservoir, paying 50 life to deal 50 damage. This will activate Exquisite Blood gaining you 50 life. Repeat the process to do inf. damage.

Inf. Turns Combos:

Turns Combo 1 - Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve : In order for this combo to work you will need 3 things: All permanents listed for the combo on the battlefield at the start of your turn, 6 mana of any color, and no other thopters on the field. The combo works as follows: You activate Thopter Assembly during your upkeep and create 5 thopter artifact creatures. You activate Time Sieve, sacrificing the 5 tokens you just created and gaining an additional turn. You cast Thopter Assembly again from your hand. Repeat these steps each turn.

Turns Combo 2 - Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry + Time Sieve : In order for this combo to work, 2 things are required: All combo permanents are on the battlefield & you have at least 5 mana. The way this combo works is as follows: You spend one mana and activate Thopter Foundry, sacrificing Sword of the Meek and creating a 1/1 thopter artifact creature. As the creature enters the battlefield, you equip Sword of the Meek to it. Repeat this process 4 more times (5 in total) and you should have 5 thopter artifact creatures. Activate Time Sieve sacrificing the 5 artifact creatures you just made and gaining an additional turn. Repeat this process on each turn. On a side not: every activation of Thopter Foundry results in gaining 1 life.

Inf. Draw Combos:

Draw Combo 1 - Aetherflux Reservoir + Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top : In order for this combo to work, 2 things are required: a life total > 2, and all combo permanents are on the battlefield. The way this combo works is as follows: You activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability drawing a card and putting it on top of your deck. Using Bolas's Citadel passive ability, you may look at your top card (which is Sensei's Diving Top) and play it using life instead of mana. This will cost you 1 life. As you play Sensei's Diving Top, this will trigger Aetherflux Reservoir gaining you 1 life your every card cast this turn. This combo gains you inf. draw, near inf. life gain, and the ability to use Aetherflux Reservoir to hopefully one tap someone.

Draw Combo 2 - Bolas's Citadel + Etherium Sculptor + Sensei's Divining Top : It should be noted that Bolas's Citadel can be exchanged with any card from the PlayFromTop section, and Etherium Sculptor can be exchanged for any card in the CostDown-Artifacts section. In order for this combo to work, 1 thing is needed: All combo permanents need to be on the battlefield. The way this combo works is as follows: Use Sensei's Divining Top's second ability, tapping it to draw a card and put it on top of the deck. Then using the PlayFromTop card and the CostDown-Artifacts, you should be able to play Sensei's Divining Top from the top of the deck for free. Then repeat the process for infinite draw.

Inf. Mana Combos:

Mana Combo 1 - Gilded Lotus + Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Voltaic Construct : It should be noted that Gilded Lotus can be substituted for any card in the ManaRock 3+ section. In order for this combo to work, 3 things are needed: All combo permanents are on the battlefield, they have been out for at least one turn, and you have 1 blue mana available. The combo works as follows: Use Sydri, Galvanic Genius's first ability to turn your ManaRock 3+ into a artifact creature. Tap it for 3+ mana. Then untap it using Voltaic Construct. Repeat the previous two steps for infinite mana.

Mana Combo 2 - Ashnod's Altar + Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry : It should be noted that Ashnod's Altar can be substituted for Krark-Clan Ironworks. In order for this combo to work, 2 things are needed: All combo permanents are on the battlefield, & you need 1 mana of any color. The combo works as follows: Use one mana, and sacrifice Sword of the Meek to activate Thopter Foundry. This will create a 1/1 blue Thopter artifact creature and gain you 1 life. When the Thopter enters the battlefield, Sword of the Meek should attach to it. Then you use either of your SacOutlet cards to sacrifice the Thopter and gain 2 mana. Repeat process from the beginning to gain inf. life & inf. colorless mana.

Mana Combo 3 - Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth : In order for this combo to work, 2 things are needed: You need 2 mana of any color, & all combo permanents to be on the battlefield. The combo works as follows: Start by using Basalt Monolith's first ability to tap it for 3 mana. Then use its second ability to un-tap it for three mana. In response, you will use 2 mana to pay for Rings of Brighthearth and copy Basalt Monolith's second ability. In response to that, tap Basalt Monolith for 3 mana. Then the Rings of Brighthearth copy will resolve, un-tapping Basalt Monolith. You can repeat the process for inf. mana.

Mana Combo 4 - Basalt Monolith + Forsaken Monument : In order for this combo to work, 1 thing is needed: All combo permanents need to be on the battlefield. The combo works as follows: Activate the first ability of Basalt Monolith tapping it for 4 mana. Normally, this would be 3 mana, but Forsaken Monument increases mana produced by 1, increasing it from 3 to 4. Then you activate Basalt Monolith's second ability for 3 mana, un-tapping it. Repeat this process for inf. mana.

Mana Combo 5 - Gilded Lotus + Pemmin's Aura + Sydri, Galvanic Genius : It should be noted that Gilded Lotus can be substituted for any mana rock that grants 2+ mana and converts mana to mana of any color. In order for this combo to work, you need 3 blue mana, 1 mana of any color, Sydri, Galvanic Genius & your Mana Rock on the battlefield, and Pemmin's Aura in your hand. The combo works as follows: Use 1 blue mana to activate Sydri, Galvanic Genius' first ability to turn your Mana Rock into an artifact creature. Cast Pemmin's Aura from your hand and attach it to the Mana Rock. Then tap the mana rock for mana. Pay 1 blue mana to un-tap it, using Pemmin's Aura. Repeat the last two steps for inf. mana.
