Nice tricks! Did you planned to put in Venser, the Sojourner , I know its not cheap, but really fit in your deck. +1 has gone!Finarfin

Venser, Shaper Savant isn't a bad card, but I can't think of what I'd swap out to use him.

Personally, Unsummon , Smite the Monstrous , Peek , and Elixir of Immortality seem rather useless. I would replace those with Venser, Shaper Savant , Telepathy , Cyclonic Rift , and Terminus .

I used to play a flicker deck and my favorite card of all time was Stonehorn Dignitary you NEED to try it.

Probably visions of beyond, you don't mill enough for that to be good. Also try to find a slot for enlightened tutor so you can search up enchanted evening and start blowing up all the enchantments haha. Other good enchantment removal spell is Seal of Cleansing

I've considered Enlightened Tutor , but it's just a tad out of my desired price range, especially when Enchanted Evening is meant mostly as an alternate win con.

Good point, really consider that seal though. That and Aura of Silence . They are both really good.

Sorry to constantly pester you haha, but another thing: Brainstorm , while considered to be one of the best draw spells of all time (and it is) is really one of the worst draw spells of all time if you don't have a lot of effects that shuffle your library. You really need all 7 fetch lands and quite a bit more to utilize it effectively. I noticed this in a mono blue EDH deck I had brainstorm in and it just always performed terribly. In its place I would recommend Jace Beleren if you can afford him. You have a lot of ways to lock down an opponent so you should capitalize on that strength. If you lock them down from attacking you, plansewalkers can just sit around on your side of the board and give you the upper hand. Im not sure if youre opposed to the idea of a Counterspell but its always good to have a few of those in any blue deck. You dont have to go crazy with them but having a couple is never a bad idea.

I don't consider it pestering. I appreciate all the input I get. I'll look around for something to replace Brainstorm with that has a similar effect.

Phyrexian Metamorph is rather underwhelming in this deck seeing as though your only running 2 Artifacts... Thought Reflection is also just a bad card in general. I would replace them with Mind Unbound and one of my all time favorite cards, Staff of Nin !

Phyrexian Metamorph is there to copy creatures or possibly snag one of their artifacts (if it's a good one). I agree 100% about swapping Thought Reflection for Mind Unbound and have done such.
April 24, 2013 10:19 p.m.
You know that Mind Unbound is pretty risky because you must draw the cards and so you mill yourself pretty quickly...

I was thinking about that last night when I added it, and have been trying to think of which card(s) I may wanna add to avoid decking myself. I may go with another card draw route, just not sure of what yet.
