I decided to go with a black/blue build at FNM. I love control. It is my favorite type of deck to play, but there are many different types of control. I decided to go with blue/black because of my shops local meta game. There are a few people running control like myself, but no one running blue black. The person that got me playing control the first time I went to an FNM is running a very succesful 5 color control deck. I chose this over that because of Ashiok. Yes you can run ashiok in five color, but I needed more room for things like Bile Blight because of the many popular agressive strategies. I also use Perilous Vault as my sweeper. Many people question this but I find that the card synergizes very well with Pearl-Lake Ancient. I also find it very good for most matchups due to cards like Bloodsoaked Champion and Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. Well, enough of me talking, please take a look at the deck! Any feedback is appreciated!!!
