Maybeboard


A +1/+1 counter based deck that will either create giant creatures (if it works correctly) or do absolutely nothing and die quickly.

Turn 1: Hardened Scales

Turn 2: Gyre Sage

Turn 3: Renegade Krasis (Gyre Sage at 2)

Turn 4: Master Biomancer (Gyre Sage at 4, because of Renegade Krasis ability)

Turn 5: Increasing Savagery on Master Biomancer

Hopefully Gyre Sage + 3 lands (at least 1 Island, 7 mana total) on the field will allow a 10/14 Elusive Krasis to come out on the battlefield this turn. (8 +1/+1 counters from Master Biomancer + additional from Renegade Krasis+Hardened Scales)

Turn 6: Another Increasing Savagery or the flashback cost of the first one on Elusive Krasis and swing with a 21/25 unblockable. If it's been destroyed, then creatures are now entering the battlefield with 10 +1/+1 counters on them, with the possibly of that dramatically increasing.

Gyre Sage is great for mana ramping and pumping out at least 2 creatures a turn.

Fathom Mage for card draw.

Sapphire Drake gives everything with +1/+1 counters flying, which should be just about every creature on the field. That card has won me the game multiple times.

Elusive Krasis entering the battlefield turn 5 as a 10/14 is just fantastic.

Vorel of the Hull Clade doubling the counters on creatures pumps up the creatures even faster.

Simic Charm to keep creatures from doing destroyed, or giving the last second power boost. Or for removing an opponent's creature...or to remove my own creature. So versatile.
