Splendid Valakut in modern, semi-budget, work in progress.
The idea is to get 7+ mountains in the graveyard, with a
Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle
in the graveyard or on the battlefield and then use Splendid Reclamation to bring all the mountains back and deal lethal damage. I figured I could take advantage of
Aggressive Mining
and cards that put lands into play through ways other than playing them (Search for Tomorrow, Sakura-Tribe Elder), plus mana dorks in order to have consistent mana sources.

are here to make sure we can cast 4 mana spells while sacrificing lands for card advantage.
Aggressive Mining
let's us sacrifice lands to draw cards. This is important because it lets us both put lands into the graveyard for Splendid Reclamation, and it also draws us two cards, creating an important source of card advantage.
Semi-dredge package with Insolent Neonate, Cathartic Reunion, and Stinkweed Imp, to dredge cards and dig deeper into the deck.
Search for Tomorrow and Sakura-Tribe Elder let us put lands onto the battlefield without playing them, ramping the deck and conveniently working around
Aggressive Mining
's "you can't play lands," clause.
Sideboard:Not very well developed yet, but I think that adding in land destruction and
Harmless Offering
against control decks would be hilarious. You destroy their lands, cast an
Aggressive Mining
, and then
Harmless Offering
to give it to the opponent, disallowing them from playing lands and thus casting spells.
Will update this to include more ideas I had pertaining this deck soon, but am busy at the moment. Much work, very time consuming, wow.
