i never thought I would see the day that i would see a good non cheese mono red deck. but today i have. If i may make a suggestion you should grab a Dolmen Gate for it just as some insurance in combat.

Thanks very much MarlFox, I did't want to include Kiki because I dislike the infinite combo's he can easily create. Decided on Goblin tribal and creating as many tokens with Krenko as possible.

I appreciate the suggestion, Dolmen Gate would be an excellent addition!

on a side not you need to include your general in your main deck list, as otherwise it isn't counted towards your total card limit on tapped out. you may also want to take out Gilded Lotus as it is a tad expensive, for a set of three free mana, and I'm not sure you need that mana as goblins are dirt cheep.

while Voracious Dragon is not a goblin, its ability to deal damage based on # goblins eaten when cast would sit nicely in your deck. I don't know how tribal you want your deck to be but if you dont mined one or two non goblins in it you may also consider Moonveil Dragon as it gives a global fire breathing ability for the cost of one red mana. since goblins are so cheep on the mana you may also consider using Jokulhaups for a glorious field wipe. instead of Red Sun's Zenith you may want of replace it with devil's play so you can guarantee a second cast of it

How has the deck performed? I have been invited to play in a 5 color star game and I am going to play a Krenko Deck. I am missing many of the really great goblins you have here (I am thinking about splurging) but I did start out with a fairly goblin/creature heavy build. I have now cut many of my less powerful goblins for non-creature and artifact spells but the deck is very much a work in progress.

Your build seems to be light on direct damage, removal, equipment, wipes and big/flying creatures which are all things I would need to take out to run more goblins. I'd love to know more about how your deck works.

Hi paytongamer,

To be honest this deck is one of my more casual ones and doesn't pack much removal or hate for many things. Instead it focus on a basic game plan of putting as many goblins into the battlefield as you can and using Krenko to make more and more... then pump them up using various methods to hopefully alpha-strike one or multiple opponents.

It has a few alternate win conditions, for example:

Lots of goblins + Skirk Prospector or Battle Hymn + Comet Storm

Lots of goblins + Burn at the Stake

Lots of goblins + Massive Raid

Lots of goblins + Goblin War Strike

There are a number of different ways to build a Krenko EDH deck, but I opted for the above plan over going using infinite combo's that Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and other cards enable.

Krenko is a lot of fun to play, you'll be surprised how fast you can amass a huge army of goblins. If you're willing to splurge some cash on a couple of the decent goblins you wont be disappointed!

I HIGHLY recommend Ogre Battledriver for any Krenko deck. He fits perfectly in with the mana curve and gives all creatures a boost and haste.

I appreciate the additional info LukeT. I am generally a pretty casual player and you gave me some good ideas. I am definitely going tribal for the star game I am playing in.

If you're not too sad about sacking some of your goblins, some good cards would be Goblin Grenade and Arms Dealer . Goblin Grenade is a great burn card in a goblin deck and Arms Dealer adds some needed removal. Taurean Mauler is also a great card in any deck and any tribal deck.

I also don't understand why you have Godo, Bandit Warlord . You don't have any samuri in this deck, and you have very few equipment cards

It makes me wonder as to why you have Godo, Bandit Warlord in here. Perhaps use Breath of Fury ?

UPPMeech, all the cards you suggested used to be in the deck at some point but were taken out to accommodate other cards which serve multiple purposes for combo etc.

As for Godo, Bandit Warlord , he is in the deck specifically to get the equipment that combo's with Krenko.

One example is: Thornbite Staff + Krenko, Mob Boss + Goblin Bombardment = infinite goblins and infinite damage.

Winzlectross, as mentioned above; Godo, Bandit Warlord is specifically in the deck to tutor up the equipment that combos with Krenko.

So how are we obtaining the lands to make valakut effective? Your goal in Krenko should be a turn 5 win consistently.

Neat deck, I think it'd be a lot of fun to play! I'd suggest looking into Goblin King , buffs everything, and they get mountainwalk, combos great with your Blood Moon .
