hey guys this is my Mayael the Anima commander deck.

this deck has many functions

1. ! MANA RAMP !

Not much to say, get that much mana you can to trigger mayels effect and win with your fatties.

1. ! GET THE CREATURES !!

put as much fat ceatures out as you can.

Mayael the Anima, Birthing Pod , Quicksilver Amulet , Elvish Piper, Lurking Predators, Congregation at Dawn , Worldly Tutor , Sylvan Tutor, Harmonize, Sensei's Divining Top and Green Sun's Zenith will help you with this.

Rings of Brighthearth will trigger the abilitys a second time for just 2 more.

3 ! protect your creatures !

well the greatest weakness of a green, white, red Fattie deck ... is
BLUE!

with their Counterspells and Unsummons they can really suck such a deck till death.so i tied to work against these ith putting in gadock teeg who can destroy many control cards or Dosan the Falling Leaf.

if the ceatures are in play you've got Archetype of Endurance or Asceticism which can also regenerate your creatures to get them unatachable against 'target' spells.

Against global spells you've your Avacyn, Angel of Hope

Blind Obedience, Krosan Grip or Path to Exile (and other spells) ... are helping you against artifacts (for example Gilded Lotus or creatures your opponents could use to defeat you or creatures you control.

(f.E. you fight against a sliver commander and every sliver has haste , you'd be happy for your Blind Obedience)

4 ! combo !

Normally the Mayael is a deck which puts out many fatties and attacks very aggressive.But i found some cards you can combinate succsefull in this deck.

Dark Depths+ Thespian's Stage

HOW DO I GET IT??

In every mayael deck you need !!MANA RAMP!!
and if you have that many cards which search your libary for lands, why don't search for a huge combo? Into the North can search your Dark Depths and Crop Rotation , Expedition Map , Tempt with Discovery and Weathered Wayfarer can search for both cards to put out a HUGE COMBO.

HOW DOES THE COMBO WORK?

Well, Dark Depths enters the battlefield with ten ice counters on it. If you remove all (you've to pay 3 mana for ONE ice counter...) of them you'll put out an 20/20 creature.

BUT if you copy this land , the counters won't be copied.And this is the part where Thespian's Stage gets important.It copies Dark Depths and gives you a 20 /20 indestructible, flying creature. ;)

If you've got a lucky hand, you can put the combo out in turn 3 or 4. Which is very fast in a mayael commander deck!!

Seedborn Muse + Birthing Pod + Worldspine Wurm

This one is funny !

you need all thee cards in play:

its your turn and with Birthing Pod you sacrifice Worldspine Wurm to search for a creatue with mana cost 12 or less.Because Worldspine Wurm dies you'll get 3 5/5 tokens AND you shuffle it into you libary.Now you search for your Worldspine Wurm and put it into play.

In your opponents turn, you do the same and with time you'll get a never ending wurm ramp!
