I have playtested the deck, as a matter of fact, and as early as turn 2, i could foresee an opponent conceding to an animated Iona, Shield of Emeria . That's how bonkers this deck can be.
One of the main problems I ran into while playtesting this deck is that there are some hands where I can't get those unwanted fatties out of my hand and into the graveyard and I'm dead-drawing lands or more unwanted fatties. Try taking out one Animate Dead and one Duress and try running two Zombie Infestation s. See how that works out for you.

+1 for awesome deck and for Skyrim reference. Have you considered using Bladewing the Risen and any beefy dragon like Dragon Tyrant for more reanimating shenanigans?
December 1, 2011 5:31 p.m.
@MisterRoach thanks! you gotta love SKYRIM! they are good but they are a lot more better creatures with awesome abilities.

Cool beans man, I like it. I think the only think I would consider is lessening the 4x Reanimate because, well, you only really want to cast it twice tops. But then Buried Alive becomes less useful.. it's going to put a lot of things in the GY, which is good, but you lose some reanimation, then you run into the problem of someone maybe card:Tormod's Crypting you which sucks. Running a lot of Burried's isn't a bad thing with cards like Victimize , though, but then it becomes slower... decisions! i'll have to try playing it, just thinking out loud right now haha

@Flinty Thanks and about card:Tormod's Crypt that card scared the sh i t out of me! hehehe! maybe ill sideboard Null Rod and Memoricide for that card :) but i need 4x Reanimate so i can have it early game. ill just put Platinum Emperion in my mainboard so my life wont change from the Reanimate .
December 4, 2011 6:52 p.m.
@Flinty or ill just switch Memoricide with Pithing Needle to counter card:Tormod's Crypt

i'm retarded, didn't read the comment before #12 haha. yeah, looks good man
December 5, 2011 12:59 a.m.
@Flinty hehehe thanks! have you tried playtesting it?
December 5, 2011 2:06 a.m.
not yet, or at least not on here, i'll try it on cockatrice if i get a chance.
December 5, 2011 12:40 p.m.
do you really need 3 Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur ? i run 2 as even if they kill it you can just bring it back again, having 2 means you still have a back up incase your opponent exiles one, but also gives you the chance to run an extra big creature such as It That Betrays or Crosis, the Purger
December 7, 2011 9:05 p.m.
@jarrods i have 3 Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur so that i have a higher chance to draw him in case i dont have Entomb or Buried Alive .

Why the h-ell do you have Emrakul, the Aeons Torn in here? it's ridiculous, as you can't reanimate it due to 2 of its effects. one, it cannot be targeted by coloured spells. secondly, it shuffles right back into the deck if you do manage to get it to the grave.
December 8, 2011 4:37 a.m.
@Zachariah_Skithiryx uhm yes you can reanimate it by using Makeshift Mannequin :) and i read on other forums you can target emrakul from the graveyard using Makeshift...
December 8, 2011 4:50 a.m.
@Zachariah_Skithiryx well i think your right hehehe so i just replaced it with empyrial archangel

why are Sharuum the Hegemon , Magister Sphinx and Urabrask the Hidden all sideboarded?
December 9, 2011 1:06 p.m.
@SplodyCopter is it better to mainboard them or not? cause i can't decide : /

Zachariah_Skithiryx says... #24
they're good, but it's up to you. the sphinx combo is usually a next turn kill, but, Iona is a reliable 1st turn kill
December 10, 2011 7:48 a.m.
SplodyCopter says... #25
yeah i agree. iona instills fear when you bring her out first turn. the sphinxes are easier to deal with, but you never know. idk maybe it's better to use a different combo in the second match. i think that combo is really sexy tho! iona is probably more effective tho, and then you can just do it again next turn.

This looks like a solid deck. My only gripe, however, is this: Why two of Jin-Gitaxias? You can fetch him into the graveyard easily and reanimate him easily, so having another one of him seems kind of redundant. Might I suggest Inkwell Leviathan or perhaps Artisan of Kozilek to chain another reanimation, maybe even Sphinx of the Steel Wind mainboard against super aggression. From the maybeboard, Magister Sphinx seems a good inclusion to put an opponent under more pressure. Mossbridge Troll , maybe, if you're reanimating a lot of fatties. Pelakka Wurm is a consideration, too, if you need to get up to life after a serious Reanimate . Plated Slagwurm is kind of hard to respond to as well. I'm just throwing out creature names at this point. Just some things to consider. Replace that second Jin-Gitaxias, and you're all good.
