@dykcman the ability of Demigod of Revenge only resolves when you cast it : /

@splody and joker, The opponent i hate to duel against is a control deck especially white/blue deck with Force of Will ,Daze , and Path to Exile hehehe!

Just a personal opinion after a few playtests:

  1. Land draws are highly inconsistent, even after 3-4 draw turns
  2. As a result, struggling early game against U/B control
  3. More discard mechanics needed

+1 Really like your deck idea. It's a beauty

Iona, Shield of Emeria and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur for the win. Every time.

What you need is something to sack your opponents hand. Something big, black, and legacy.

Nirkana Revenant for mana fixing?

Malfegor anyone? Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur fixes the problem of the opponent's hand. all you have to do is drop him, and control decks are basically useless. IF you can get your Reanimate to stick.

also, the deck is built to be reliable on only 1 land. he only has more than 10 because he needs a good first hand. 1 swamp, 1 Reanimate , 1 Entomb , and 1 Dark Ritual can very easily be game.

SplodyCopter it relies heavily on the luck of the draw. By the, 3rd turn if no creature has been successfully put into play, the game suddenly favours U/B with counterspell and discard cards.

Songs of the Damned and Sacrifice maybe?Cabal Therapy / Inquisition of Kozilek as alternative to Thoughtseize and Duress Funeral Charm over Putrid Imp for options and instant

I agree with dykcman But what would really be funny though would be watching a U/B mill deck start taking cards of the top of his library... Actually, in a 2v2 this wouldn't be a horrible support deck. Especially if it partnered with a Mill... You chose your ally as target player, with Millstone and Tome Scour

@dykcman Cabal Therapy is hard to use to the opponent(for me) what if she/he doesnt have 2 or moreForce of Will on his/her hand?? so that's why i have Duress -Extirpate combo, Inquisition of Kozilek is good but i like Duress or Thoughtseize more cause you can't target Force of Will or anything above 3 more mana cost spells.

you can do Putrid Imp 's ability more than once so i like it rather than Funeral Charm

guys, how about Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger (as a bonus you can delay your opponents malicious schemes hehe) and Sol Ring for extra mana :)

Ha I played against Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger today. Its morally degrading card. Go for it.

December 13, 2011 2:37 a.m.

@solron22 you don't need to use Cabal Therapy on your opponent. you'll more likely use it on yourself for when you get the cards you want in your graveyard in your hand. It's good for a two of at least for this reason.

@solron22 Cabal Therapy can be used also for assurance,ie you already know what counter spells they have in the deck, and you just want to make sure they don't have in their hand, then.

Maybe Sundering Titan ? It's effect could be devastating.

December 14, 2011 1:04 a.m.

solron22 says... #15

@dykcman still i dont find it very powerful, its to risky you need to use some cards to look at the opponents hand just to make sure you can name the right card, and i have Putrid Imp and Thoughtseize (if i switch it with Duress ) so its really a no-no just for me...

@Jokernaught yah i looked that card too, but its too risky to have your land got destroyed as well and i read it on other forums that only ONE land per basic land you can destroy. so i like Terastodon more than Sundering Titan .

guys how about Arcanis the Omnipotent for drawing??

December 14, 2011 7:19 a.m.

Jokernaught says... #16

Yeah I know its only one land. but if your going to win the game in one shot a 7/10 is nice.

December 14, 2011 7:25 a.m.

You don't really need Arcanis the Omnipotent since most of your utility will be going from your deck to the grave before hitting the field, leaving other spells more likely to draw.

December 14, 2011 8:50 a.m.

SplodyCopter says... #18

that's the point with arcanis. this deck is great if you have everything you need, but it's absolutely useless unless you have the right spells. so you get everything into the grave first, and then you get Arcanis the Omnipotent to start pouring cards into your hand. i like the idea.

Jin-gitaxis works the same way, and he's faster

yah you guys are right thanks for the advice and the comments :)

how about from the sideboard is it good? or can you suggest some cards against control decks?

Maelstrom Archangel definitely gives you more options. Now opponents have to worry about your graveyard and hand.
