A solid budget elves deck in modern, at time of creation this deck is $35 on using TCG Player's or Card Kingdom's price optimizer.

Instead of a Craterhoof Behemoth this deck uses Triumph of the Hordes and Joraga Warcaller for the game finishing buff. Start the game off with a couple lands and one Elvish Mystic , Llanowar Elves , or Arbor Elf and you're good to go. Play Elves and cast Lead the Stampede or Winding Way when convenient or low on cards for more gas.

Update: As of June 2021, Joraga Warcaller and Ezuri, Renegade Leader have increased in price, recommend finding cheaper alternatives such as playing cards like Elvish Promenade and Crashing Drawbridge for even more elves, now with haste.
