Made some drastic changes to accomodate Dragons of Tarkir. This included cutting some of the planeswalkers that before I considered essential.

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome.

Opinions on Nyx-Fleece Ram? Early game life-gain and blocking... But does it warrant a spot in the mainboard?

That could definitely be interesting... and activating twice would seriously speed up my ability to win. Hmmm... interesting. Definitely worth play testing. Thanks :-)

Also started looking at Palace Siege's Dragon ability. Dealing damage while stabilizing myself at the same time. But my 5 drop slot is already pretty full, with End Hostilities, AEtherspouts, Liliana Vess, and Prognostic Sphinx. Can't decide if its worth cluttering up that spot even more with other options. Any thoughts there?

At this point I'm looking at cutting both copies of Jace, the Living Guildpact to add in probably 1 AEtherspouts and either a Palace Siege or The Chain Veil. Not a lot of time to play test before tomorrow, but I think these will all be positive changes.

It looks like your game is shifting towards beating the midrange decks and siding in for the aggro decks. In my deck, I am trying to beat the midrange decks and outlast the aggro decks, with sideboard for support along with siding in against control decks or mirror. I have a couple questions, Sorin, Solemn Visitor, how is he fairing in a deck without many creatures? Liliana Vess, is she viable to have mb? How do you expect to fair against aggro without any early interaction? Your deck runs a crap ton of just straight up counterspells. And yes, Prognostic Sphinx may have it's upside compared to Jace, the Living Guildpact, but Jace offers more than just setting up your hand, his ultimate is game changing, and he still has the element of bouncing something. But I see where you are coming from with the Sphinx. I am very curious to know how Sorin does though. And by the way, Silumgar, the Drifting Death is awesome! It protects itself with virtually no downside. It's a big body in the air, and it's ability is relevant in the meta.

Sorin, Solemn Visitor tends to fair pretty well and is a great stabilizer. If there is ANYTHING else on my field he is fantastic. The lack of creatures is often solved by using Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver to just give me some of their creatures. I often don't play Sorin until turn 5 or 6 anyway, since many of my lands enter tapped and I'm busy countering things or playing ashiok on the first turns. At that point, I either have Liliana Vess to pull Elspeth, Sun's Champion, or I have Elspeth herself. I definitely feel like Liliana Vess is viable mb, making your opponent discard provides card advantage and she can neg right off the bat to pull anything you need, win-cons or board wipes or whatever else. I'm still experimenting with the Jace, the Living Guildpact-less deck and not sure it is staying that way. I was unimpressed after further playtesting The Chain Veil so at least one copy of Jace will probably be going back in that spot. Late game bouncing stuff with him and then using Liliana to make them discard is great. I'd love to test Silumgar, the Drifting Death as well, I'm really just not sure what to cut for him or if I need that extra win condition. I feel like if anything I need more draw power to find the win conditions I already have.
