Why don't you just Chaos Warp rafiq... or Spin into Myth. you could also run Tooth and Nail its my favorite green card and could answer a lot of problems for you.

also tucking generals that are big and gross helps I see you have Hinder why not run Spell Crumple too.

Funny you ask, until you mentioned it, I had never seen nor heard of Spin into Myth. I'll look into playtesting with it.

I have thought of using Spell Crumple. I'll work to getting one.

Tooth and Nail: I'll look into as well. It's gone down significantly in price, but I have to be steady with my purchases

So where is the ramp factor? I know most decks that use green use Exploration, so it seems over used, but its honestly just a good card. if you are going to be drawing that much, maybe think about Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Oracle of Mul Daya, or Exploration just to drop lands from your hand. They aren't the cheapest cards, but they work really well. and if you are running things like Rhystic Study, it always helps. Also, things like Elixir of Immortality in case your stuff goes bye bye. Anyway. I like the deck, just thought i'd throw that in there.

Thanks for the suggestions. Much appreciated!

Azusa, Lost but Seeking recently skyrocketed over speculation that she would make to the top 8 of the protour. She went to $50 over night! She making her way back down, but is way out of my spending zone currently. Maybe someday.

As for Oracle of Mul Daya, I currently have one in the deck already. I'd be awesome if I could have two though, lol.

I'll look into getting Exploration, it is a powerful tool for ramping.

What would you suggestion I remove to put in Elixir of Immortality?

Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is a nice beater and good utility.

If you're looking for things that will help against a good bant voltron deck the answers are limited. Most bant decks won't cast they generals without counterspell back up. They almost always run Cavern of Souls to make their General uncounterable. So the question is how do you counter that which can't be countered? Venser, Shaper Savant is the answer. You're not countering their general you're sinply placing it back into their hand. Then you get venser back into your hand and cast him again to do the same thing next time they cat their general. The question I have for you is how do you want to win? Other than beating faces in which is one of the weaker strategies to win one EDH.

Well, I'm not much of a control person and I can be patient to a point, but typically I just like to chip away and win. I'm not the greatest blue player, I just like the way it mixes with red and green. I currently own no Eldrazi because I unfortunately wasn't playing during that time, but I do see your point. My goal with this deck see to control what I can and hope no one is looking when I win, lol. Sounds silly and not very smart, but I most play pods at my shop for fun and not competitively. My Naya deck, Who the hell is Gahiji? would probably be a more competitive deck overall.

Thanks for the feedback Deckologist.

For Elixir of Immortality, Possible suggestions would be Psychic Spiral, Quest for Ancient Secrets, Renewing Touch, Primal Command (the green "choose two" card), or Gaea's Blessing. The green command and Psychic Spiral are two of my favorite so far.... Although, Renewing Touch keeps you from drawing into lands that were tossed into your grave or instants and sorceries that have no use. I'd run 2 shufflers in if you don't use Elixir just so you can keep your deck stuffed.

What about Fathom Mage? A lot of your creatures are jacked and she's hilarious with Kalonian Hydra.

for mana production reasons? It is a thought. We'll see.

I like the deck! A couple of cards that I threw into my Riku deck from looking at this-

Trygon Predator You're right, this is an auto-include!

Frontier Siege Not sure why I didn't notice this one before, it does amazing things for casting sorcery cantrips for card draw or mana ramp. It would also help push me over the edge to be able to drop things like Hornet Queen!

If you don't want to play Exploration I have had good luck with Burgeoning. Turn 1 it is just bonkers, late game it is less helpful. It does have the added benefit of making people consider whether to play a land themselves. For me I like forcing people to second-guess themselves lol.

As for what to do about Bant... I keep a stockpile of Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast for use against control decks (really any blue deck) just to see the look on their face when I counter their counter with only a mountain open. One mana instant speed removal (or countering if you aren't afraid they will counter your counter) of Rafiq if you want it, letting you use the rest of your mana on something else.

Thanks for the comments and suggestion. I have thought of using Exploration or Burgeoning. Very powerful for early game ramp. I do personally prefer Exploration for long term use.

Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast are hilarious because the only two of their kind. Countering or destroying a blue card for a red is pretty cool.

I'll definitely looking into getting Exploration to speed the deck up.

Hydroblast and Blue Elemental Blast are fun but not nearly as hilarious to pull out (can you say INTERRUPT). Good utility against the right decks though, and they fit in great with my Riku flavor.

If I had an exploration I would probably be playing it too haha.

No Xenograft?

I think Aggravated Assault would be great for this deck, considering it's pretty much old-fashioned beatdown. An extra combat phase for all your big lizards is all you could ask for.

Also, just look at it with Savage Ventmaw.

Heehee! Cool deck.

Karns_Pyromancer: Actually, before you mentioned that card, I never knew it existed. I'll look into it.

The_Gaga_Gecko: lol, thanks! Beatdown is simple for me and it doesn't require as much planning as other deck do. I have some combos, but the main goal of this deck is just to overwhelm the opponents with dragons.

I have looked into Aggravated Assault for my deck, I just currently don't have the funds to buy it, but maybe soon. As for Savage Ventmaw, I'll see if I can fit him in.

Savage Ventmaw is great with Hellkite Charger + Sword of Feast and Famine .

Also, if you ever decide to run a black tribal, Conspiracy is a better Xenograft.

Very true about that infinite combo. I unfortunately don't own a Sword of Feast and Famine. It's one of the few infinite combos I wouldn't mind doing because it is funny.

As for Conspiracy, I've always loved that card and it is better than Xenograft. If I do ever run a black tribal, I will use it. Thanks for the commentary. upvotes are appreciated as well! ;)

Also, look into Maelstrom Wanderer and Etherium-Horn Sorcerer. Free spells is free spells.
