Round 1: U/W Heroic. Close games, Tribal Aggro gets the best of him as I have removal for his creatures, and he has no answer to a 3/3 beater.
Round 2: Mono-Red. Too much pressure, No removal.
Round 3: R/W/B Midrange. He durdled alot, I used that time to hit him with 3/3's. He died.
Round 4: W/G/B Midrange. Game one, he stabilizes and goes big, I have no answer to it. Game 2 is a 30 turn clusterfuck of shit where because of lifelink and Rush of Battle we both go to 30+ life. How the hell does a deck like this stick around? Spear of Heliod. his singular threats didn't stick around after attacking me, so he had to build up enough dudes with Elspeth that he drew after 20 turns. Was crazy fucking game. Would have been nice to draw a Glare of Heresy or a Banishing Light before turn 28 though.
Round 5: Boros Heroic. His deck was very clunky, but it got the job done frustratingly enough, the first game I cleaned up and turn 5'ed him. Game 2 I get 4 creatures in 12 turns. I still bring him to 3 life. Game 3 is an incredibly close game, and it just slipped out of reach, drew heavy on lands and it proved to be my downfall. As he finally managed to upset the boardlocked state by attrition.
