Fungi and Saprolings. Yes please! I'm Dusting off my old casual W/G Thallid/Saproling to make a semi-competitive EDH to play with my friends. Ghave, Guru of Spores was a perfect fit for this deck as a commander since I can use a lot of black cards in conjunction with sac'ing saps to put pressure on the board.

The big idea to this deck is to explode and swing to take out multiple opponents with a giant army of Saproling and a Giant Ghave.

Why no Mirari's Wake/Thelonite Hermit/Verdeloth the Ancient? Even thought they are very powerful cards in their own rights (especially with fungal/saproling decks), I'd rather have +1/+1 counters than passive +1/+1 to creatures to play more with cards like Doubling Season/Hardened Scales/Corpsejack Menace and give more synergy with Ghave.
