Niv-Mizzet as a Commander to enable me to take advantage of a lot of Draw Spells.

I have the two-card combos in the sideboard, however I usually refrain from using them since I'd rather enjoy the interaction with my opponents.

The deck needs to be tweaked a little, since it is kind of slow. Possible additions include more cheap artifact ramp and maybe a few more counterspells like Desertion.
