Arlinn Kord   has been a card I've wanted to play in Pioneer for a long time and combined with The Royal Scions and Heart of Kiran I felt like i had a strong midrange shell. Adding these pieces to the Existing Chonky Red deck seemed like a powerful way to support the other pieces and being able to pump powerful creatures like Glorybringer with Arlinn, allowing it to exert several turns in a row seemed very strong. The Torbran, Thane of Red Fell package, combining him with token producing creatures helps create early pressure, and combined with the Planeswalker package and the new card from Theros: Beyond Death, Tectonic Giant , we can play into the long game efficiently and powerfully.

The sideboard is tuned mostly for my local meta, which has several lifegain and graveyard decks. Ash Zealot helps counteract some of the attempts to play out of graveyards and fuels our aggressive plan. Rampaging Ferocidon helps in the Mirror Match, punishing their go wide effects, and helps shore up our life gain matchups as well. The rest of the sideboard is relatively stock and will be getting tuned more for my meta as I play the deck more.
