The last 4 cards, which I can't include in the list below yet, are the new spoiled card from the upcoming set, Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim with a cost of BW. (for anyone who hasn't seen it yet: https://i.imgur.com/qRGL6ku.jpg) 4-of may be excessive for a legendary creature (I'll have to see), but my thinking is that she'll often eat removal and if I have 2 I can likely just block with her, as people usually are attacking into this deck, or need to be to keep us off of 30. I don't think it'll be difficult to 1-for-1 her with something from my opponent any time I have multiples. This deck borrows elements of current BW tokens lists (with archangel taking the place of mass pump over Honor/Inquisition/Sorin), traditional Soul Sisters, and UW Titan/Control.
I realize there's a tension between taking pain to splash and getting to 30 (part of the reason Bitterblossom isn't included), but I have tried to design the land base to minimize the pain. With lingering souls representing additional big chunks of lifegain, I think getting to 30 is pretty feasible. Since I already included the fetches to fix for black, an additional very light blue splash for 2x Ojutai's Command MB and Detention Sphere as a flexible answer in the SB was also possible, with little additional impact to the manabase. I think if we're building multi-colored mana already, Ojutai's Command as a 2-of becomes preferable to Ranger of Eos, as it can contribute towards getting to 30 more immediately, and offers a bit more flexibility. It's possible I'll tune the deck to include 1x Detention Sphere MD at some point, if need be.
Sideboard is also local-meta-tuned and varies week to week, including the most common cards for answering various matchups I'm concerned with right now. The SB card choices aren't intended necessarily as a suggestion for anyone else building this list, but more the ones I've included for now offer some possible choices based on the matchups I expect to see. I might add some hand disruption (Thoughtseize, Inquisition), if I'm needing them as answers to non-graveyard combo decks. I don't love that in this deck though, since we really want to be casting a soul sister on turn 1 if at all possible to start gaining life and curve out. Thoughtseize also further sets us back against the 30 life goal to turn on our exiling and Serra Ascendants. Nevermore may be a combo catchall more aligned with the deck's curve and goals, or possibly Leyline of Sanctity (not so much worried about burn, but for stuff like Grishoalbrand, Jund/Junk hand disruption, storm, some others).
