In a world without Birthing Pod this is probably as close as i'll come to reliving the glory days. This list is very rough as i've only been able to afford limited testing at local modern events at SCG Hobby Latrobe. The deck is geared to be a bit more aggressive than a typical Pod list (hence the Loxodon Smiter's). To this end, I think that Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit is marginally better than Melira, Sylvok Outcast.

A combo finish is still present however: Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit + Kitchen Finks + Viscera Seer will allow you to gain infinite life and scry until you find the one-of Blood Artist. Then on the next turn Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit + Viscera Seer + Kitchen Finks + Blood Artist will result in an infinite life loss for your opponent.

Collected Company serves the same value and card-advantage role that Birthing Pod did. The fact that it cannot hit a Murderous Redcap is why i've opted to include Blood Artist.

Congregation at Dawn allows you to set up your Collected Company's to ensure that you are able to establish infinite life. They also are a beating for fair decks and burn decks alike - putting three Kitchen Finks on top can very easily lock up either of those match-ups. Congregation is also the reason for the one-of Eternal Witness as it allows you to rebuy your Congregation at Dawn or Collected Company. Congregation also serves the Pod-esque role of searching for singleton silver-bullets.
