Thanks you two!

Adding both now.

I've looked at this deck a few times already and I've also considered building a Kithkin deck before, but decided to build with another tribe for whatever reason. That said, I can offer a few ideas about this build as it stands:

1) Adaptive Automaton is better than Door of Destinies because 1) it's a lower CMC, and b) it does it's job when it comes out - Door of Destinies would be good if you could drop say, Gather the Townsfolk, but at 4 CMC, hopefully, you've already played enough creatures to be well on your way to winning. So it doesn't really pump quickly.

2) Interaction: Oblivion Ring is not enough. 4xPath to Exile and 4xRevoke Existence in the Sideboard. (Revoke Existence would've been a huge help in our match earlier in your The Good Church deck.

3) I'd cut Veteran's Armaments - it doesn't really synergize with the deck. Use this space for Path to Exile.

4) Lands: I'd run all Plains. Sucks. I've looked and looked at non-basic W generating lands, and they suck. 1xWindbrisk Heights is plenty.

5) Your AVG CMC is a little high for lack of a mana ramp. Gift of Estates might be a decent option as a 2-of and you might cut 2-4 lands in it's sted. (Thin the deck, gain mana base, draw better cards)

You're right about the Door, I'll replace that.

Hm, is Path to Exile the only good, cheap, White Removal? :P

You don't think Veteran's Armaments synergies well? I've been using it to equip for free when I call out a Kithkin with Militia's Pride to increase the damage being dealt.

Gift of Estates is awesome. Might consider that more The Good Church...

I dunno, maybe Veteran's Armaments does synergize. I was kinda drunk last night.

Celestial Flare is decent white removal.

I haven't been able to use a Gift of Estates yet, so I couldn't tell you how good it is, but if it's a good as I think it is, I'll be using it quite a bit in my future White decks.

Also Cavern of Souls (If budget permits).

April 14, 2015 7:59 p.m.

Maybe, but I'm not sure about Patrol Signaler, he's a little slow and I can pump out tokens with Militia's Pride pretty fast.

I'll throw Cavern of Souls into the Maybeboard, it's pretty awesome but probably a long-term acquirement. Trying to keep it a little budget to start off with at least.

Oh, and thanks for the +1!

Brave the Elements should be somewhere in this deck xD

April 15, 2015 9:05 a.m.

Oh yeah, completely forgot about Brave the Elements!

I'll probably throw it in the sideboard in place of Burrenton Forge-Tender.

Mistmeadow Skulk and Goldmeadow Dodger are some fun cards for the late game.

Knight of Meadowgrain is a very good value card but costs about two dollars each.

Since this deck has a sub-focus on tokens, I feel like a very strong pick would be Surge of Thoughtweft.

April 15, 2015 5:07 p.m.

I'll probably Mainboard Surge of Thoughtweft, but I'm not so sure about the other Kithkin creatures. I'm trying to keep it a Kithkin Soldier Tribal.

I'm assuming you want this deck to be budget?

April 15, 2015 9:49 p.m.

Not really, I'm a little strapped for cash right now so aquireing the more expensive cards might take a while.

The way it's built currently just happened to be realitively cheap.

I think I would mainboard Brave the Elements - that can be used to attack as well as block!

April 15, 2015 10:54 p.m.

I see what you mean about Brave the Elements.

What should I cut for them? I think the best thing to do might be to cut some of the creatures from four to three.

Ballyrush Banneret seems so good, but two of them on the battlefield would only benefit Veteran's Armaments in cheaper casting cost. Maybe not useful to fun a full set?

April 15, 2015 11 p.m.

That's true, the kithkins are so cheap that I only need one.

Let me change some things around.

I think you have enough +1/+1 giving creatures. I would cut Adaptive Automaton - it doesn't give that much, and it costs more than the Kithkin that do the same thing.

April 15, 2015 11:03 p.m.

Yeah I was thinking that myself.

How's it looking?

mmm hm. I knew it needed something to make it extra lethal and now I think it's there. And you also have room in your sideboard for a few extra surprises... what to add...
