The Mission

To mess around with equipment.

It's really not that easy to use equipment in a deck, but it's always tempting to try. The big draw back is that equipment and equipping are expensive in terms of cards and also mana. Having Stone Haven Outfitter and Sram, Senior Edificer can mitigate the card cost, while Sigarda's Aid helps with the mana cost. With these costs mitigated the next step is to squeeze out some synergies to make sure our battlefield isn't just Sram with four Cathar's Shields equipped (not so scary).

The Deck

Ok, here's version one. For my equipment I've chosen Captain's Claws and Neglected Heirloom   as the mainstays. A lot of equipment decks seem to use Stitcher's Graft but I really don't like it because firstly: it is awkward to use (needing to setup vigilance); and secondly: because if it is destroyed while equipped, this counts as un-equipping and you have to sacrifice the critter it's attached too.

Now Captain's Claw has a synergy with the Pious Evangel and also Hanweir Militia Captain which is nice. But also by itself it supports aggressive play.

Neglected Heirloom   has synergy with all the transform critters in the deck. So un-transformed it is cheap enough to move about and then transformed it give your smallish critters some real fire power.

Bygone Bishop is in to ensure we don't run out of cards, and can also is handing evasion.
