when one thinks mardu re-animator, many or most think Alesha. BUT Alesha only gets my small creatures, and I want YOUR creatures too both big or small. Enter Tariel.

Tariel has the quirky effect to randomly get a creature out your opponents graveyard under your control AT INSTANT SPEED. so we have a couple goals in this deck; 1. Get creatures in our opponents(and our) graveyards, 2. reanimate creatures, 3. Attack with those creatures before somebody removes the threat.

Sultai is generally where mill is happening, so we don't have a lot of that in this deck, we do have altar of the brood to get some incidental mill, magus of the wheel(if you have wheel of fortune use it)to refill our hands and get some juicy creatures in our graves, we also previously ran reforge the soul, but that had been retired for Doom whisper. Combustible gearhulk is a win win, because mill effects in this deck are pretty welcome. Cards like faithless looting, cathartic reunion to get big cretures into the yard, scythe specter to get cards out of our opponents hands, sometimes creatures, we also have things like entomb, and demonic tutor, and final parting which is both.

Sadly Tariel does not have haste, which I consider to be a massive oversight by wizards part, at one point we used thousand year elixir to compensate for this, but Tariel is 7 mana, we aren't gonna try and focus on making tariel's ability more viable, if we get get to christmas land, we get there, if not we have a bunch of other reanimator spells to compensate.

Now sometimes not drawing our discard outlets or our reanimation spells can cause us to stall out. So we really really want to make sure we have suitable ramp, obviously we small ramp, like the signets, but we also have thran dinamo, and gilded lotus to get us that extra push so we can hard cast stuff if we need to.

Now one could be edge-lord McGee, and try to reanimate eldrazi, but that just gets you targeted quicker. your creature targets are whatever you want, but whatever you reanimate it better be good. my top picks are the praetors, and Avacyn, angel of hope. One thing this deck is lacking is smaller creatures, so
Go wide strategies would be pretty effective... if we didn't have a lot of board wipes, with the exceptional addition of balefire dragon which is a targeted board wipe we can reanimate. All in all this deck is a lot of fun , so enjoy! And may you reanimate your opponents craterhoof.
