Sacrifice a creature, make them sacrifice a creature. But you also get a card draw, or two or three. Or you pump a creature, or you manifest more creatures. This deck is very versatile. There are many combo's possible.
Strategy:
Stop their attack: Small creatures make opponents think twice before attacking:

and Grim Haruspex give card advantage as well as the ability to block. Monastery Siege Increases card advantage too.
Removal: Because of Dictate of Erebos, Ruthless Deathfang and Archfiend of Depravity, we have ways of constantly controlling opponents board presence with sacrifice.
Combos:
Card Draw: Have a familiar or sage in play with a haruspex or two? Bring in Merciless Executioner for a two card draw or three.
Pump it up: Have a dictate in play with
Swarm of Bloodflies
and a priest? Cool. Sac a familiar, draw a card, manifest a card, opponent sacs a creature, and flies get 2 counters.
Board wipe: Have a familiar, sage and emissary with a Champion of Stray Souls and a familiar, sage and emissary in the graveyard? Sac familiar, sage and emissary to bring back a familiar, sage and emissary for card draw and manifest. Have a dictate? makes it even better.
