Deck focusing on Hydras.

Overwhelming Stampede has won me many games in multiplayer with this deck.

Gyre Sage can get HUGE! As long as you're playing a hydra each turn at max size, he's almost guaranteed to evolve.

Marking this deck as "Needs Help" because I'm reeeeeeeally thinking about making this a Red-Green-Black for Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Corpsejack Menace and Whip of Erebos. Kalonian Hydra + Whip of Erebos sounds gross and Jarad can eat one of your big baddies for a multi opponent 3-drop nuke. And Corpsejack can just do what Corpsejack does. Guess I'll have to test it out.

Also, I just discovered Managorger Hydra and think it would be a wonderful addition to this deck since I play multiplayer heavily. Taurean Mauler works wonderfully well in my Changelings deck and since it's pretty much the same card+trample I figure it should work equally great. I can't figure out which cards to remove though...

And Rosheen Meanderer would be gnarly... Ugh, so many good cards!

Hydra Cannibals

Say, for instance, you have a Scourge of Skola Vale out and maybe a Kalonian Hydra or a Vastwood Hydra. If Kalonian Hydra or Vastwood Hydra get nuked, you can choose to sacrifice them as an instant with Scourge of Skola Vale 's ability and make him bigger. Not only that, if you use Scourge's ability on Vastwood Hydra things can get huge, really quick.
