I was looking through the new M15 cards and found Ensoul Artifact which is quite a card for 2 Mana. So I built this based off an Azorius deck I was working on by swapping White out for Colorless.
Ensoul Artifact combos really nicely with both Darksteel Citadel and Ornithopter for either an indestructible or flying 5/5 on T2, can't beat that.
Hypnotic Siren and
Daring Thief
are the really fun parts to this deck. They heist my opponents creatures when they get out of hand and give me the option to steal any other permanent that is a threat.
Vortex Elemental
and Ornithopter are the perfect creatures to exchange when
Daring Thief
untaps.
Vortex Elemental
really makes an opponent think twice before attacking with big creatures.
Jorubai Murk Lurker
usually comes in with the extra counter to make a formidable blocker. Using extra mana to give my attackers Lifelink keeps me in the game against Aggro and Burn decks.
Thassa, God of the Sea scrys every turn to filter out lands mid game and lets me send damage through with unblockable creatures. 5 Devotion isn't too hard to get to have a 5/5 Indestructible creature as well.
Aqueous Form gets my Thief's and Ensouled Citidel's through for damage and Scrys as a bonus.
Hall of Triumph
pumps my blue creatures and gives me another target for Ensoul Artifact
Hour of Need comes in handy mid game after I have all of my 1 drops out early by converting them into 4/4 flyers on the cheap. It also doubles as Fatty removal in a pinch.
With all the small flying creatures and unblockable pumps,
Military Intelligence
gives an easy card draw.
Turn to Frog
is a great way to kill creatures in Blue, nice against Demons, Dragons and any other big threat that I need to get rid of.
Annul
goes in against Enchantment decks.
Hero's Downfall gives me extra removal and helps against Planeswalker heavy decks.
Negate limits removal.
Triton Tactics
goes in to shut down Aggro decks and untap DaringThief the same turn.
Polymorphist's Jest drops Flyers out of the sky, smokes Gods, wrecks Hexproof and turns Fatties into frogs. Super versatile card for 3 mana.
