Building Jeskai Control since Sensei's top is gone I can't play utility countertop :(

Pretty happy with the current list but tweaking it and testing, have a few items I don't yet own that I want to get for the pool but with the exception of maybe Stony Silence (surprised I don't seem to have this), I think the list as is is pretty good and the pool I have to work with should round things off just fine.

Based on my analysis of the meta, the following are decks I need to be able to beat at least post sideboard:

• Death and Taxes
• Affinity / Painter
• Sneak & Show / Omni Tell
• Reanimator
• Mirror match
• Storm
• various less represented combo
• enchantress (its not high in the meta but every time I play in events and someone runs this, this deck dominates because nobody has counterplay)

I plan to have main board answers to most play styles and have my sideboard supplement with counterplay, and rely on planeswalkers, days undoing + narset or hullbreacher, or occassionally hullbreacher to beat my opponent down if a nother win con is not available.

A few angles I am considering but not currently sure how I want to work with: * Dress Down at least on the surface though meta does not feel like something I want to play * given Teferi lets ponder + brainstorm let me potentially crack a miracle, and jace helps with this too, Terminus > Supreme verdict is very tempting, or maybe doing terminus main with verdict in the board. I will likely playtest both. * day's undoing at instant speed technically disrupts reanimator. I am a little worried my sideboard does not tackle grave hate effectively enough but I think I am under valuing surgical extraction here * Although slow, I am planning to fiddle with 1-2 Ashiok for grave hate that can get around shroud (I self mill and exile my opponents yard and can do it over and over) - it also breaks search effects which is really good if not busted * there is currently 1 serenity for enchantress/affinity/painter, more may be worth acquiring

A few notes on how I am arranging the decklist here: * acquireboard is items I do not own but plan to have on hand for if I decide to play it; generally I like to own playsets of what I run even if I never run more than 1 if its financially feasible.

Last but not least, I am planning to make a modern version of this list (debating whether red is worth running or going just blue white walker control) so some of my acquireboard is based on this. Open to feedback, I've done a fair amount of analytics on my choices but have not had a chance yet to test it in a live environment
