I think that Narset, Enlightened Master needs some love in this deck. Searing Blood and Swan Song are amazing together. +1

You might want to consider some Bloodstained Mire / Flooded Strand etc., for thinning purposes lategame. Maybe swap out one of the islands for a Flooded Strand and two of the mountains for Bloodstained Mire.

Why no Mantis Rider?

Soulzone Why Mantis Rider? I have 8 creatures including Sarkhan. Plus this is burn, not Jeskai wins. What would you take out for Mantis Rider? Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker does too much to take out.

I actually have 12 Creatures, including Soulfire Grandmaster

Would Ajani's Pridemate find a place in this deck? I mean with all that life gain he'll get pretty big

Nice deck! I'm running a red burn with a splash of blue right now, but I'm totally thinking of adding white like you've got here. That new soulfire grand master looks SICK! To interact with him and Stoke the Flames I'm going to run a play set of Hordeling Outburst.

Hmm...I'm not really sure what you're trying to do here. Looks like a funky version of the Jeskai Tokens deck with more burn? Not sure why you aren't running Mantis Rider.

Treasure Cruise is definitely a powerful card when pulled off. One thing that strikes me about it though is that by the nature of it, you don't benefit from it until mid to late game, so you are lacking a draw mechanic that is immediate. I would consider, if not scraping Treasure Cruise, using less of them in favor of putting in something like Divination or even Tormenting Voice.

Anyone is welcome to check out my take on this sort of idea using Black instead of Blue altogether, Grandmaster Flash.

Adams880 is using the same mana basi I am in my deck, The New Jeskai Way. I have encountered some problems with it, as is bound to happen no matter how perfect your mana base is, but overall I have been screwed very few times. Its as good as it can be for supporting 4 colours without fetchable dual lands.

This just goes to say (I think) that the main decks right now, Abzan, Sultai, Temur, and Jeskai, have mana bases that are simply too good, and missing a colour happens so incredibly rarely, especially for Abzan, because they are running Courser of Kruphix and Sylvan Caryatid.

I'm glad you like the idea of Crackling Doom so much! I really has saved my ass in so many games.

Seeing as we're running anyway, I've been playing around with a couple copies of Thoughtseize, but haven't actually done much testing with it.

idk i just got a alot of hands where it was like island plains crackling doom and a bunch of red burn spells. I am playing something similar in current standard and it happens all the time

Man, I love Crackling Doom in Jeskai. I made a similar deck pretty much just for that reason. Needs some refinement though, especially because I don't have much mana correction at all.

The only change I might make is Stoke the Flames for Jeskai Ascendancy

Maybe not 4 for 4, but especially with Monastery Mentor those ascendancies are NASTY.

Just a suggestion, otherwise I love the flavor of this deck.

Shmizzerdrix That is a good point, and I have been really tempted to do something like that with Jeskai Ascendancy. I feel that if I add it I might as well change out most of the deck for Jeskai Tokens then. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I want Jeskai Ascendancy or not. I will have to playtest when these cards come out. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sure! I mean, there's little more satisfying than swinging with all your creatures, and then when your opponent attacks cast Deflecting Palm, Lightning Strike, or Crackling Doom to hit them and their creatures while buffing your own and blocking the rest :)
