@UpsetYoMama - I completely forgot about him! I also forgot about Chromatic Lantern. Added those two and took out a few cards for other options.

@Tangerinefox possibly an add in. I will put them in the maybe board for further testing.

Another place you can look at for ideas are decks built around Marchesa, the Black Rose as commander. She swaps out green for blue, so it's not a one-for-one comparison, but otherwise there are a lot of similarities in how these decks can be built.

The budget version Budget Marchesa, the Black Rose lacks most of what you'll be looking for - not because it's expensive but because the creator of that deck was too focused on "sac for +2/+2" effects. Game of Dethrones is closer. Notable cards in it that (I think) work with your sac-for-value theme include three cards I see in your Maybeboard:

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed - everyone gets a second chance at life. I mean, at being sacrificed.

Grave Betrayal - Shatter Bros can now conscript new minions.

Butcher of Malakir - Shatter Bros do a double-hit when you toss another goblin on the pyre.

Were these Maybeboarded because you haven't gotten to test them out yet, cost, or just no room to swap for something else that's already in?

If you were able to ramp up enough mana to do this in one turn, you could make a fun combo out of Mob Rule + Shattergang Brothers or any other sac outlet you're running, as well. Take their token creatures in order to force the big stuff to be junked.

The Shattergang Brothers so wish they were blue so they could spend their time Hatching Plans at the Training Grounds.

Still, you have access to Heartstone which seems like an auto include- cheaper shattering for them bros. You could even run Phyrexian Metamorph alongside it for value- that's basically a Training Grounds (... for five extra mana and two life. lol).

Aspect of Mongoose should be here somewhere, both to protect a creature and as anti-enchantment to sac and re-sac. I see Fallen Ideal in your maybeboard. Same kind of card, I think each color has 3 enchantments that return to your hand that way.

Necroplasm takes out opposing counters almost immediately and you can sac it whenever you want.

Pattern of Rebirth is an easy want to tutor a creature while sacing a creature.

If I had to cut 3 cards to make room for the three i suggested I would lean toward Exsanguinate, Army of the Damned and Avenger of Zendikar.

This deck is in the control hub, so for my suggestions I'll assume you want to really control the board, not just some little sacrifice here and there.

In my Shattergang Brothers list, I found the two most important parts were ramp/fixing and removal.

Ideally, you want the Brothers out on turn 3 and start saccing stuff (probably your mana artfacts to kill your opponent's) on turn 4. Or have 7 mana ready turn 4 or 5, play the Brothers and sac something. If you give your opponents time to develop their board, you're gonna have a hard time.

You need lots of mana in the right colors, fast. In my list, I run 17 spells that ramp or fix my mana, 11 of them at 1 or 2CMC. Stuff like Birds of Paradise, Leaden Myr, Rakdos Signet and Sphere of the Suns (all permanents!) provide you with mana and are sac fodder.

When I first started building my deck list, I thought I could leave out removal, because the Brothers are removal. I was completely wrong. If anything, I need more than other decks.

To control what stays on the board, you must not give your opponents time. You have to destroy stuff as soon as possible, starting with their mana rocks.

The brother's abilities are quite mana intensive and you have limited sac fodder. If your opponents play lots of permanents of the same kind (or, god forbid, tokens), the stuff you want gone won't go. You need lots of removal to hit their key cards, you can take care of the rest with the Brothers. I run 12 spot removal spells (all permanent types) and 4 creature mass removal spells. This may seem excessive, but I rarely have to wait long to use them.

Even if you don't want to control the board as hard as I do, I suggest to take in a few removal spells and maybe use permanent ramp instead of sorceries to have additional sac fodder.

Other cards that do great work in my list and fit your token strategy are: Bloodline Keeper  Flip, Butcher of Malakir, Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, Kothophed, Soul Hoarder, Overseer of the Damned, and Prossh, Skyraider of Kher.

@Omeros - I didnt realize you posted twice, I am sorry for not replying sooner.

The group I mostly play in has a player who runs Marchesa, the Black Rose as a commander so I stayed away from her. Plus I am too impatient for anything related to blue lol

I havent added them mostly due to not knowing what to take out. Mikaeus, the Unhallowed would be really fun, but I dont think it would be fun for other players to see my creatures come back from the dead for a second round of forceful volunteering. But once I figure out what to remove all three will make it in the 99. Especially Butcher of Malakir who will give me three Grave Pact effects. Grave Betrayal is good, but I fear its high mana cost and the two swamp symbols; not sure if it would be effective enough to warrant a set in stone spot. But I do have a copy of the card so I can easily test it out.

With Mob Rule I can easily use Insurrection instead. It does cost two more to play, but nabs all creatures.

@The_Flying_Hydras - I cant use Phyrexian Metamorph because its color identity is Blue. Phyrexian mana symbols still count sadly.

@carpecanum - I had Rancor in the deck at one point, but took it out for some reason. Its better sac engine than Aspect of Mongoose is because its cheaper to cast. - Fallen Ideal is in the maybeboard mostly since its a potential sac outlet and recursion, havent gotten the time to modify the deck to test out any of the maybeboard. Necroplasm also kills my creature tokens as soon as it resolves though. - Pattern of Rebirth is in my deck, The crushing jaws of a howling slaybeast, I shall put it in the maybeboard for testing because it is a fun card to use.

@hyperlocke - Yeah, all of your suggestions are very relevant. I dont nessesarily want to control the board that much, but I see where you are coming from. I do like your deck and will use a few ideas I got from it.
My question is: do you find it troubling, having only one token doubler, or do you find that it is enough for your style of play? I am by no means a control player, just take a look at my other deck (Aurelias Army) Im more of a beatface kind of guy.

Well, I don't really commit to the token route (same reason I don't play Purphoros, God of the Forge). My strategy is more like "Kill stuff until only I have creatures, then attack with them while still holding my opponents down". I will have some token producers in play, but mostly I will sacrifice stuff like Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast and "normal creatures", in a pinch even the Brothers. Parallel Lives is more like a bonus in my deck, and I think I will cut it soon for more important stuff like Mimic Vat, Scavenging Ooze or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed.

I didn't mean to suggest using Marchesa - you're playing Shatter Bros and so comments should respect that - but rather that a lot of cards that work for her seem like they'd also work well for your deck so long as they weren't Blue.

Hey I tagged you in a new shatter deck by Ravolt since he requested help and I can see from your list how much care you've put into it.

I think my first suggestion would be to increase the amount of ramp in the deck. You seem to be running 35 lands with only 10 pieces of ramp, 3 of which requiring other creatures (Ashnod's Altar + Phyrexian Altar + Pitiless Plunderer ) and some being very high CMC (Mana Reflection + Thran Dynamo especially). Ideally the Ramp should probably be creatures, seeing as you want fodder for your sac outlets, which is probably another argument against the high CMC ramp. I reckon cards like Ignoble Hierarch or even Diligent Farmhand (which sacrifices itself) would be good includes.

It might also be worth considering cards that cover multiple different activations of Shattergang Brothers at the same time, such as Hangarback Walker.

I love the concept of the deck!
