Total changes: 14 cards. More draw and creatures added for protection. Getting killed too easily by fast decks.
Creatures (Out 2, in 5)
- - Goblin Welder - Only good when drawn early, but hardly ever used in useful situations. Durdles too much for how fast the format is now.
- - Riddlesmith - No real advantage here when drawing, have never had a really good chain going.
- + Glint-Nest Crane - Flying blocker that digs deep.
- + Hangarback Walker - Solid blocker that leaves bodies behind. Can pump itself
- + Myr Retriever - More useful than goblin welder.
- + Spellskite - Lightning rod and big booty that gets cheaper with all the reduction spells.
- + Trinket Mage - Can tutor a lot of cards, including eggs, mana and Codex Shredder
Instant (Out 4, In 4)
- - Dark Ritual - I'm on the fence if this is a good call, this might slip back in.
- - Force of Will - Not that many blue cards, often a 5 mana counter.
- - Orim's Chant - Never works as intended and often just buys some extra time, but not enough.
- - Pact of Negation - Got stuck in my hand way too often.
- + Lightning Bolt - 3 Damage to face or creature is good.
- + Path to Exile - Point exile
- + Remand - Gives some sort of card advantage and saves my skin.
- + Tithe - Often times search for 2 lands.
Sorcery (Out 2, In 2)
- - Dark Petition - 5 mana tutor, got stuck in my hand too often
- - Fabricate - 3 mana tutor, same as Dark petition
- + Fortuitous Find - Can get a blocker and an artifact back. Only for 3 mana.
- + Thoughtcast - Often draw 2 for
Artifacts (Out 4, In 1)
- - Basalt Monolith - Might regret this decision, this could come back in.
- - Fellwar Stone - Signet, but not a very good one.
- - Nihil Spellbomb - Not that good of an egg currently, not seeing a lot of graveyard centric decks. Do add it if you feel the need to.
- - Rakdos Signet - Worst signet of the bunch because of the generated colors. The deck shifting from primarily to with a splash of .
- + Ensnaring Bridge - Keeps a LOT of creatures at bay.
Enchantment (Out 1, In 1)
- - Artificer's Intuition - Tried it, did not like it.
- + Future Sight - Can chain better than Artificer's Intuition but cost is higher. Trying it.
Planeswalkers (Out 1)
- - Daretti, Scrap Savant - Died too often without really doing anything.
