Updates Add

late update on the FNM i took it to last Friday. (Went 3-1, came in 5th)

Match 1- Abzan Aggro type thing (win 2-1)

Game 1: Loss

I got out-tempoed early game, only managing to Despise his Dromoka, the Eternal first turn and he drew into a Sylvan Caryatid. A few turns went by and i got out a Tasigur, the Golden Fang while he got out his other dromoka and an Elspeth, Sun's Champion. After that i just couldn't keep up with his damage and lost.

Game 2: Win

sided in Dissipate and Tormod's Crypt Fairly standard. First turn i Thoughtseized his elspeth. He played his caryatid second turn while i played my Seeker of the Way. He played land into Citadel Siege choosing dragons to keep my seeker tapped. I couldn't counter it so it went unpunished until i Utter Ended it 2 turns later smacked him for 3 gained 3 up to 23. After that i kept his creature count down till i could smack him to death with seeker.

Game 3: Win

nothing much different from last one. Kept his creatures low and smacked him to death.

MVPs- Seeker of the Way for me, Elspeth, Sun's Champion for him.

Match 2: Mardu Aggro (win 2-0)

game 1: Win

Turn one (i went first) Thoughtseized him saw that he had some fetch lands and Bloodsoaked Champion and 2 Mardu Ascendancy i took his champion and kept up the pressure with a t2 seeker. After that i drew into more discard and kept his creatures down to win the game with seeker.

Game 2: Win

Nothing much different. He got out a Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker and I Clever Impersonatord it then next turn Utter Ended to kill him. The look on his face was priceless though xD MVP-any discard for me, probs sarkhan for him as it dealt the most damage to me (brought me down to 11 from 23 after he Temur Battle Raged it.)

Match 3- Jund Midrange with splash of control. (win 2-1)

Game 1: Win

This was a close game. He played monestary swiftspear t1. That scared me cus i only had fetch lands in my hand. After that i fetch land Thoughtseize his sarkhan (I hate them so much now) and killed his spear with a Valorous Stance after he buffed it too much with battle rage and a Titanic Growth. After that he got a Garruk, Apex Predator which i promptly did the hilarius act of Clever Impersonator and killed it with its own ability. after that i kept up the pressure through some more discard.

Game 2: Loss

he turned the tables by Thoughtseizeing my Thoughtseize o.0 after that he kept burning me and killing my seeker. Deffinitely needed more counters this game :P

Game 3: Win

Sided in Dissipate and Cancel Very close match. Not much to report other than me impersonating his garruk and then his sarkhan. He very nearly killed me with his sarkhan (4 health, similar battle rage combo) Very scary game there. MVP-Clever Impersonator for me, Sarkhan for him.

Match 4- Jeskai burn. (lost 0-2)

Game 1: Horrible loss. Just Horrible.

F** Monastary Mentor rekt me. All their is too it. Despised his grandmaster first turn (I went second). He sends out the mentor and keeps countering everything else. Couldn't kill it cus of the counters and he generated so many tokens cus of that. Lost and he only dealt damage to himself with shock lands.

Game 2: Loss. Not as bad this time.

went first and Thoughtseized his mentor. second turn seeker and he matched me with his own. I Hero's Downfalled it and smacked him for 3. He turned out another mentor and countered my Utter End. From there he Lightning Striked my seeker and hit me for 5. I managed to kill his mentor but he kept up the pressure with a grandmaster. From there it was pretty close as i managed to kill the grandmaster but he kinda just smacked me with the weenies from there.

MVP-Utter End cuts it killed his mentor. Monastery Mentor for him.
