Our primary mechanisms are to sacrifice tokens to boost creatures and gain card advantage. Many core cards provide us with those critical tokens, mainly Bitterblossom, Prosperous Innkeeper, Professional Face-Breaker and Sticky Fingers. Our win condition is successful escaping Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, so we want to fill our graveyard early using Body Dropper, Village Rites, and (with mana advantage) Ravenous Squirrel. Sticky Fingers and Professional Face-Breaker can also pressure opponents to take unfavorable trades to prevent ramp, further filling out graveyard.

Other unmentioned cards are... - Ignoble Heirarch is a humble ramp/combat support card. - Grief is our general Swiss-army knife to gain information and remove threats. Exiling a Body Dropper or Ravenous Squirrel to Grief is often worth it if we have any board state at all.
