This deck seeks to heavily punish opponents for gaining advantage, instead of outright stopping them. Torbran, Thane of Red Fell makes cards like Manabarbs a winter orb, and Pyrohemia a one-sided board wipe. Chandra's Incinerator + Repercussion are a combo in and of themselves, killing all creatures that are dealt damage, but each are useful in amplifying damage dealt to players and creatures in combination with Torbran, Thane of Red Fell. There are a surprisingly large number of Stax pieces in red, all of which are listed in the maybeboard. This is by no means a definitive list, and the deck was made before MH2 so there may be some great options for additions that I haven't considered. The power of this deck is really dependent on what is being run in your meta, and many of the stax pieces in the maybeboard can address meta-specific problem. Finally, the acceleration in this deck is fairly limited, in line with what I like to play. A full power version of this deck could utilize fast-mana to great effect.
