...pray Kiku your soul to keep

A quickly put together Tiny Leader deck, situated around Kiku, Night's Flower . It features other assassins, apart from Kiku, though at the time of construction I had no thematic assassin deck in mind...it just sort of grew that way.

Kiku, Night's Flower has a powerful, but slightly circumstantial, ability: Kiku only works well against creatures whose power is equal to, or exceeds, their toughness. Kiku, Night's Flower ability lets creatures deal damage to themselves. To 'fix' this weakness I added creatures that allow you to do additional damage to a creature your opponent controls, or kill those that have been damaged, so staple support cards like Witch's Mist , Hooded Assassin and Orzhov Euthanist have been included.

Combos and Synergy:

• Cabal Torturer + Kiku, Night's Flower : activate after Kiku, Night's Flower has been used and you often kill the creature.

• Kiku, Night's Flower + Slate Street Ruffian or Armored Transport makes your opponents wonder twice about blocking.

• Illusionist's Bracers + Kiku, Night's Flower : what's better than doing it once? Exactly...

• Guul Draz Assassin + Kiku, Night's Flower : Guul Draz Assassin is good in itself, but in combination with Kiku absolutely lethal.

• Blood Artist + Kiku, Night's Flower : an excellent combo for some extra life gain.

• Kiku, Night's Flower + Witch's Mist : kill creatures that were dealt damage

• Kiku, Night's Flower + Necroskitter : Corrosive Mentor and Necroskitter deal damage in the form of -1/-1 counters. Plus if they die, with or without Kiku's help, Necroskitter allows you to bring them into play under your control.

Other finishers include:Drain Life, Syphon Soul , Urborg Syphon-Mage , and Exsanguinate.

I've included only little non-basic land: this to have an optimal use of Cabal Coffers. I did include Lake of the Dead because of its ability to power Kiku in itself (and cause some additional life-loss with drain spells.) I did not include Crucible of Worlds, because it would only do something if I had Lake of the Dead in play, so though good - it is in the sideboard - for now I prefer Illusionist's Bracers.
