I love the theme. I have my own causal tribal deck, tribal werewolves, and this deck makes it look emBEARrassing. +1 from me.

I actually used to have 4x Golden Bear :D but alas he isnt very good for his cost :( and Wild Pair wouldnt work if i have any boosting card on the field because i have to search for a card with the matching total p/t (all of the creatures are 2/2 base) so once they resolve onto the battlefield their stats change as a state based trigger so i cant search for the 4 total power and toughness :(

My friend made a deck like this and it was almost exactly the same except it had.4x Alpha Status instead of giant growth.

Alpha Status is better than Giant Growth but I wanted to keep the curve as low as possible but also, Giant Growth has a bear on it!!!

I agree with Magic_Monicle, Druid's Familiar should replace Door of Destinies as its more beartastic and gives a bear-bro an immediate bear hug

I know its not a bear but AEther Vial would be great in here.

AEther Vial would be good but its expensive :,( and im only hesitant on Druid's Familiar because he has an ability... Muraganda Petroglyphs is the engine for this deck to be reasonable... But the more i look at it the better i like it!

Love this deck, I second Bearscape . I think i'm gonna make this deck, it's to fun not too.
June 21, 2014 11:19 p.m.
I'd be surprised if this deck can really win. You need some creature removal and protection. Or card draw. Or something. Pounding 2/2 bears out each turn really isn't going to do much. On your absolutely optimal hand you will just end up with like three 4/4 bears out on turn 4. Not really a win con there. Not tryin to be mean, just bein honest.

Its a novelty deck. It's not about beating the competition as much as it is about finding interesting themes in cards and building a deck at a kitchen table to play with your friends.

how is it gonna win in casual? a deck needs to be able to win or what is the point in even playing it? Do you make it a point to play decks that can't win? As far as I can see, it is a theme deck with no win con.

w4rped, I'm unsure you understand what "casual" means... You are playing for fun. Yes, magic can be played for fun!! Instead of looking for win cons this deck is to show how awesome the game can be... But if you're looking for win cons, is having 5 8/8 bears on turn 6 enough for casual? I think you need to learn to love the game and not just winning at it...
