Thanks, The land base is budget since I don't own Marsh Flats.
I noticed this list on TCG player: http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/deck.asp?deck_id=1243700
I decided to make my own variant since I own almost all of the valuable cards in it besides land.
I agree about sorin, he's really good. Should be a least a 3 of.
I disagree about Raise the Alarm, instant speed is really good when baiting counter spells, or as surprise blockers. The list I looked at runs it as a 4 of to great success.
Auriok Champion is too expensive, but seems good!
My local meta contains; naya burn, affinity, elves, grixis control and random jank lol.
I've been playing around with my sideboard. I'm trying to decided between Kor Firewalker vs. Leyline of Sanctity against Burn and Kataki, War's Wage vs. Stony Silence against Affinity. What do you think is best for those match ups? Any suggestions for the other ones I might play against? (listed above)

Kataki just dies to Whipflare and Galvanic Blast. Play Stony Silence because it's safer.
I prefer Kor to Leyline because you can cast it and it doesn't die to the Destructive Revelrys that Burn will bring in for your anthems.

Eh, it's an ok list, but people on MTGO can be a lot more casual players than people who play in paper. Plus Ajani Goldmane is either a win-more or a dead draw. The list you are looking at is only a daily, not a huge win by any means. If you want a better idea of really good token lists look at top 8 events at larger events like a gp. Raise the Alarm is good, but when you're running blossom, blossom is the much better 2 drop. As Glistener said, Stony Silence over kataki any day against affinity. I also agree with him on Kor over leyline. Kor can also block Goblin Guide and Monastery Swiftspear. Now here's the side you should be using:
3 Kor Firewalker: burn
2 Stony Silence: affinity
2 Zealous Persecution: affinity and elves
3 Duress: control and burn
1-2 Grafdigger's Cage: elves
2 Mirran Crusader: I'm assuming jank runs green. If not, tell me.
1-2 Rest in Peace: Other jank decks that might use grave.

Actually since Zealous Persecution is good against affinity and elves, which are both common in your meta, you might want to main 3 ZP, and have a few extra space in the side as well.

You may consider Triplicate Spirits and First Response.

I agree with xzzane, they are too slow or conditional for modern.
If I weren't on a budget i'd replace Raise the Alarm with Auriok Champion most likely

Consider adding Liliana of the Veil; she adds a ton of grindy value to blossom lists.

I traded my only Liliana of the Veil for my Bitterblossom. lol
If I'm able to trade for one again, I'll try to include it. I have seen it used in other b/w tokens lists, but it's quite expensive.

Very expensive, but very good. If you can get out Liliana of the Veil, Auriok Champion, and Bitterblossom then you've pretty much won the game in most cases.

No secure the wastes?instant tokens with sorin for 2/1 lifelink blocks?
November 26, 2015 2:41 a.m.
There are better options in a blossom list. Also if you play the token card after sorin's ability, then the tokens will not get the buff from sorin's.

Secure the Wastes was in as a 1 of for awhile. But as xzzane said, we want our tokens to always get that pump from sorin (activating planeswalker's abilities = main phase only). So instant speed token gen isn't ideal for us, so it didn't make the cut.

Might I suggest a few copies of Harsh Sustenance? i find in BW swarm-types it can really put them in a painful situation on life or get rid of a heavy hitter rather cheaply
November 29, 2015 3:39 a.m.
Harsh sustenance costs too much and does too little. It also requires a field presence and can therefore be a dead draw.

Secure the Wastes at the end of their turn, usually they're tapped out and you can swing and pump on your turn. That's how I used to play it running Foul-Tongue Shriek as well. (For my standard deck)

Secure the Wastes is a powerful card, however the mana investment required to make this more efficient than the other token gen spells is too high. It lacks the versatility to be as effective in the early game as Bitterblossom, Lingering Souls and Spectral Procession, they all out class them at 2-3 lands. In addition, all of the tokens from these spells have flying! I was playing it in my mainboard as a 1 of for awhile. It was good to draw when flooded or in a grindy match up, but when I had to cast it as an overpriced Raise the Alarm stuck with 3 lands... I wasn't liking it.
I think it has a lot of potential in standard since games are generally longer in that format. Longer games = More Lands = Big Mana sinkIt can certainly be a blowout at the right time, I may include it as a sideboard choice in the future.

I will let you know how it goes, I'll probably post it on this page. It's an honor! You have a very renown B/W tokens list on this site. I hope to make you proud! I have seen your list before and it definitely helped inspire aspects of mine. Thank you for your continued support and suggestions.

I'm always glad to help! I'd offer to help tune it some more before the event, but it's a bit late for that haha. It's better to go in with the list you're comfortable with.

What do you think of the new fastlands in this list? Also, what's your opinion on the new sideboard tech I added to fight Tron and Valakut? (arguably, the worst match-ups for this deck.)
xzzane says... #1
Your mainboard looks pretty solid, but there are things that can be done to improve it. You should be running at least 23 lands, and if you have the money, add Marsh Flats. Since you run Bitterblossom, Raise the Alarm is not necessary. I would take it out for 1 land and either 1 Sorin, Solemn Visitor and 2 Auriok Champion or 3 Auriok Champions. Your sideboard could be improved immensely though. What is your local meta?
