This is my take on the First Sliver.

Slivers! Ok, so this is everyone's favorite tribe to hate. Generally, when opponents see you are playing Slivers, you are going to be the archenemy so be prepared for the hate. The First Sliver is a very interesting commander because it doesn't allow the degenerate combos of Sliver Queen, and doesn't put the game on rails like Sliver Overlord. This deck wants to cascade so I've added some high CMC slivers compared to deck using another sliver commander.
The strategy of this deck is pretty straight forward, get a massive sliver army and start attacking. Each sliver brings something to the table for other slivers. Flying, double strike, more power, deathtouch, etc. You will want to make sure not to over extend and walk into a board wipe.

Board Wipes and board wipes. I can't stress enough that this deck wants many slivers on the board in order to pump each other up. Your opponents best weapon is board wipes, and they should be casting a lot of them to defeat this deck. Also, single target removal has the added effect of impacting every one of your creatures on the board. If your opponent kills Cloudshredder Sliver all your slivers lose flying and haste.

With this in mind, the deck play multiple slivers that can protect your other slivers, as well as cards like Teferi's Protection . I've broken up the slivers by function below.

This section breaks down the different areas that slivers fall into, combat centric, protection/disruption, utility.
Combat Centric Slivers These slivers help make your other slivers more effective in combat by raising their power and toughness and granting abilities.
Bonescythe Sliver - Double Strike
Cloudshredder Sliver - Gives haste and flying
Galerider Sliver - Flying
Some slivers make good combos, here are some of them:

Hunter Sliver and Venom Sliver / Toxin Sliver - Combo lets you decide which of your opponents creatures block and deathtouch takes them out.

Thorncaster Sliver and Toxin Sliver / Venom Sliver - Works similar to above, but has the added benefit of clearing the before combat damage resolves.

Bonescythe Sliver / Striking Sliver + Toxin Sliver // Venom Sliver - First strike damage plus deathtouch in combat will kill blockers/attackers before sliver take damage.
Training Grounds - I originally had this card in the deck but the infinite combo with Sliver Queen is not something my playgroup is trying to do.
